Right – you need to get a bit “hands on” to eliminate the water level switch. It works on air pressure, from a collecting bell under the machine. This can simply get choked with crud and not release thet air to let the switch drop out. The level switch iteslf is round and has a small rubber hose attached to it. When (gently) pressurised, you should hear the switch click over 2 or 3 times (Don’t remember – it’s been a while..), when the pressure is released, you should get the same numer of clicks going down again. Blowing back down the air hose should show no resistance – if it does, a strip and clean out of the airbell in the bottom may be required.
Power off before trying any of the above….

ParticipantRe: Stoves 720ef – No power
If the timer won’t light up and allow you to set a time, the oven won’t function. Sounds like a fairly classic timer fault – possibly a wiring issue.
Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

New carbons are about 1.5″ in length. Worn out brushes will have one brush with the tip shiny and the other all dull and matt black – contact lost.

Of course, a model number might help get you a proper answer…..

Chinese tat. Don’t spend money on it, you’ll end up (as you have found out) spending more. If you’ve replaced the element and the thermostat, there’s only the pcb left.
Do yourself a favour and buy something decent.

ParticipantRe: ISE 5 Dishwasher : code F2
F2 is no drain detected in the time allowed, so a drain pump blockage is entirely possible. If you wish to deal with this yourself, power off, and bail out as much water as possible before removing the drain pump motor from underneath to find any foreign body.
You are well within the guarantee period, so a call to your ISE agent is your other course of action, Be advised that if the machine is blocked due to an inappropriate object, you may be charged.

Old SMEG machine – almost certainly a PCB fault. A read of THIS ARTICLE may prove educational – it won’t just be a case of replacing the pcb, I’m afraid.

Brian,
Dede have never made a washer in their lives – what is the actual machine? They have bought from Bosch, Lux and even Siltal to my knowledge.

ParticipantRe: Smeg DWI612C
Corruption issue looming – suppressor, dispenser solenoid or motor capacitor will be breaking down, which will ultimately take out the pcb.

Probably NTC circuit or connections – if not, pcb.
