    Re: Isis dishwasher DW250 overflowing

Turns out it hadn’t overfilled at all – he just said it had and the water underneath, (backing the overfill theory up), was where he’d pulled it out, still full, to have a look at it, before putting it back to make it look like it hadn’t been touched!
It needs a new heater – that was what tripped the rcd.

Anyone know a part number, please?

Have you checked the sump and pressure chamber for blockages?
They gunge up quite badly, iirc.

Thanks, Petalpop, but that didn’t really answer my question 😥

I’ve got the exact same problem with one.
Won’t reset, checked oven selector is OFF.
Push button is definitely working – checked continuity between pins with it depressed.
    Must be the board, then.

    Q. When you say the “main pcb”, do you mean the power board (481931039791) or the pcb with the two rotary switches on it (481921478693)?

    Thanks,

I’ll have to make sure the tenant is in to give me a hand, by the looks of it!

    Thanks for your help, Bob.

    An update:

He’d isolated the two neutral wires separately from each other, thereby removing the neutral from the top oven lamp and the clock.

Bulb holder wasn’t corroded – it had burnt out when he’d shorted the cables across trying to remove the broken bulb.
When fan oven was turned on and it shorted at the back of the bulb holder, it had welded the contacts shut on the main oven selector, which is why the fan was permanently on!

I’ve got a machine with the exact same problem.
Did you manage to find a part number for the powerboard or obtain a replacement, or was it £_stupid_amount ?
    Thanks,

    Thanks for that, Tell.
She’s decided to get rid of the lid altogether and do away with the necessity for the microswitch to be made.

Have you tried tracing the damaged track / chip / resistor tracks back to a connector, then seeing what component goes to that connector?

Energy Regulator part number 082590900 did the job nicely.

I’ve got one of these with an E1 fault, but the base is as dry as my vegetable patch!
I’m suspecting the wash motor, even though it seems to be circulating OK.

Any chance of a copy of that tech info, please?

    Many thanks,
    Pigpen.

    Re: Stoves 900EM grill regulator

    Thanks, Seamy.

I already tried the Stoves site, with no luck.

I thought the thermostat was for the top oven part of it and the grill was regulated by an energy regulator, but I haven’t pulled it out of its hole to have a look inside it, yet, so I may be off the mark with that assumption.
I’ll have to go and find out.

    Cheers,
    Pigpen.
