Hi Connor,
If it’s the one I think it is then your Whirlpool part number is 481952878089. Most of the distributors like Connect and Qualtex will have it in stock. I found from experience that you need to remove the top and front and then the large drum will lift out once you have taken off the belt from the motor. This gives you access to the rollers. There are two at the back and two at the front. It can take a while to get to them! :rolls:

Another interesting and helpful meeting. Thanks to the committee members and assistants for getting it organised. It’s great to put more names to faces as well!
Looking forward to seeing you again at the Hilton Coventry on Friday 17th February for the big meeting.Cheers

Bob,
That’s brilliant thank you
Not being a person into computer games I wouldn’t have known about these things.
A new one to add to my list!
Fascinating it should be on a Dualit toaster. It’s the first one I have had like that. Thanks anyway
Cheers

Bryan,
Do you need to know that I can only go to the Sat 9.30am meeting only? In terms of name tags I’m thinking. Or doesn’t it matter?
I’d put my name down for the Feb one and was still left off the name badge list!Perhaps i’ll bring a previous badge just in case.Chris

Jim did this cure the fault?
I have a Nextra HNL 662 which is giving almost the same symptoms. When any programme is started the 15 minute light flashes and the pump starts. I can get it to start on the time saving programmes more quickly if i press each of the buttons in turn and then press them to cancel. The machine will then start and complete the cycle normally! :con:

Cheers for that eastlmark,
That confirmed what I had found. A PNE to Connect said that there was no part available but I discovered that same number you found on Qualtex. When I ran it through Connect it came up with the Connect code 5031 6898 53910. I then did a PNE through a different site available to consumers which is obviously linked to Connect and that came back with the same Connect number even though Connect PNE service themselves said they couldn’t help me! :rolls:
I don’t often have much luck with their PNE service as it seems unreliable in about 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my enquiries. It did look to me as if a universal pump would fit given the picture. I am going to the machine on Sunday to have a closer inspection.
Thanks for your help anyway.

Chris,
That’s a very good idea and well within budget and a much simpler solution. How fine is the strainer? is it like a mesh or a sieve or like a ‘tea’ strainer in terms of hole size do you know?
I think I will get one posted and give it a go. If it works out successful then its probably worth getting a few in stock ready. Many thanks for that
