    Martin…you’re a star 8)

I’ve already had to fit a header tank in another property to cope with pressure problems with a new machine.
You’re absolutely right any sediment would settle. It’s a much better long term solution and saves filters having to be renewed annually. That’s what I love about this forum…pooling ideas. I’ll go back and do a survey and see if it’s possible……and if she’s prepared to pay!
Oh the joys of rural living! :rolls: It’s never straight forward.

    Thanks for that Ken,

I’ll go away and have a ponder about it.

    Re: Next Machine Introduction

I would be very happy with a freestanding dishwasher as well at 60cm wide. Could a 45cm be included or is that too much to ask because of costs?

Re: Washing machine in line water inlet filter

Sorry Mirmay,I’m not sure I understand you on that one. 😕
If it’s too expensive then I won’t have the job, plus there is a limit to the space available and I don’t get to sell a new ISE. The older valves coped with the situation but the latest valves seem to be clogging as shown on the present machine and the previous which was 12 months ago. The customer really hates the present machine and has never got on with it hence the introduction to the ISE. The customer loves all of it green credentials for the ISE and it’s simplicity

Any thoughts and suggestion on how I can inexpensively filter the inlet would be appreciated.

    Many thanks for that Martin,

Yes. The one you found is similar to the one I installed about 18 years ago which had a 3/4 inch thread instead of an inch and was about half the length of the one they are showing on the American website. It is the sort of thing I am after though but smaller and less expensive. Back then it was £15 so probably would be about £30 or £40 now I’ll keep trawling through the internet to see what else I can find, but if anyone has had any recent experience or seen one somewhere that would be really appreciated.

    Cheers

    Re: Evening gents ..

If you do use a vehicle for personal use as well then it is a process of recording the vehicle mileage at the start of your tax year and recording the mileage of each business trip or personal trip. At the end of your tax year you then record the total mileage and work out the vehicles total mileage for the year. It then is a process of subtracting the total business or personal mileage so that you can work out a percentage mileage for business and personal. All claims against the vehicle then (ie. fuel, road tax, servicing etc) is the total cost minus the personal percentage.

:boops: sorry if you’re bored at this point! 😐

Re: How do YOU pronounce it?

A German friend of mine said recently that the word Miele would be pronounced ‘meel hay’ with the ‘h’ being very short and almost non existent. SHE said the ‘e’ on the end would never be pronounced as an ‘aah’ sound in that position in a word. :rolls:

As a completion to this topic the ‘new’ connector from Steve is in and the customers are very happy as the dishwasher will now do two to three loads a day this week because there are extra workers on the farm to do the silage.

    Thaks Steve 😀

PS I found a break in the old wire just before it bent into the connector. It’s a pity you can’t get hold of these connectors easily.

    Thanks Ken,

I guessed it was something like that. I have to say it would be useful to have if you can rather than keep giving out the email address but please don’t bust a gut over it as it is not essential.

    Cheers

    Re: Email icon on posts

    Hi Don,

Thanks for that. I have tried that route and at the point where I can edit the account settings it is showing my email address but not how to set it to appear as an icon on posts.
The only thing I seem to be able to change is the password.
Perhaps at my ‘level’ I am not allowed to have an email icon?

    Cheers

Re: Whirlpool Dishwasher ADG6441X connector to reed switch

    Don,

I still couldn’t find the 12 digit number when I went back to look as it looks like it has been rubbed off but based on the approximate age of the machine and looking at the possible options for this model it looks like it is an 851164415854.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers

    Hi Don,

I didn’t see a 12 number code on it but there was an 8 number as follows: 41921152.

    Hope that helps
    Chris
