Hi Dave,
The hall cupboard the washing machine is in backs on to the kitchen and they have just had a new fitted kitchen so the only access is under the plinths.Check to make sure the customer is not using the quick cycles. Some of the quicker washes are only for 2-3kg loads and using a full detergent tablet will cause over soaping.
Just a thought but can you just disconnect the dryer element? The customer said they don’t use the dryer part of the machine so if I could just leave it disconnected and the washing cycles would still work then that could be the best option.

I called back in today to run through this and came up with an error code E09 but it’s not listed in the list of error codes.

RayI have just been speaking to someone that does contract work for Whirlpool and he has said at the moment he’s been given the go ahead to work as our business type is classed as essential work. He said whirlpool have been in constant contact with the government.
Thanks for that, I suppose you just get used to the fact that if something you buy doesn’t work you take it back and either get your money back or a replacement. I wonder if I bought it from Indesit direct as a normal non trade customer the same rules would apply. I know it would be a bit more expensive but probably worth paying the extra for the peace of mind.
