Just a quick follow up on this one.
Went back to the machine today with an interlock and it now works just as it should.
The fascia was just held on with plastic lugs and then the front panel just clips in behind it.

Hi Thanks for the info. Sorry I should have put that I checked the filter and it has power at the board. One other thing the customer did mention was that for a while now the machine had been jumping around a bit.

Hi Thanks for the reply. I ordered that spider first but its not the same as the one that came out of the machine. The one that came out is the same size all the way along the shaft.

Thanks for the link. I did think that the front panel had to come off, but how do you remove the control panel. Is it just the plastic lugs across the top of the panel. I did try to take it off but it seemed to be very tight.

Ok I give up how do you get to the interlock on this machine?
It looked like the front panel would come off butno joy so I took the side panel off and I still cant get at the interlock.

Hi, No the machine didn’t have a load in when we had it running.
The drum would turn fine in any direction but if you gave it a push/spin with your hand in one direction it would stop straight away.
The customer has complained that its jumping out from under the worktop and into the middle of her kitchen.

I didn’t check it with a tester but it started to smell very hot, so I switched it off straight away

Hi Thanks for that. We thought at first it could be the relay but when we have had the relays go in the past pushing the start button or keeping it held in would get it going again, but not in this case.
Thanks, Rayray.t

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS8812Gb/27 dishwasher pump
Thanks for the replies. I thought I was going to have to get the pump off and it didn’t look like it was going to come off easily.
