    Ralph,
If you want me to send you a copy of my flier and sticker PM your address and I’ll get it in the post before I go down the Nile on Monday.
Lee is right, don’t under price yourself, I’m £50 plus a mark up on parts, very flexible upwards 😉 most jobs well over £70 and just this weekend 4 customers willing to wait 2 weeks ’till I come back from Egypt for their repairs. I must be doing something right.

    Re: Wish me luck

Since I did a basic website about 2 years ago I now get 4 to 5 calls a week from it but I also got on all the local free search sites and would say that I get the same from them. No cost, and on most I’m in the top 3 in their listings. I also leafletted when I started with sticky labels attached. The leaflet said “you may not need me now but stick me on your washer just in case”. I still get new calls from 10 years ago with them. Bright yellow makes them stand out.
    Good luck. 😉

Re: Maytag 2200AGW Yankee top loader

    Hi lads,
I went back and the spring was a bit weak so I pulled it out a bit and it seemed better so left it with the customer to try. The motor plate still seems floppy but maybe they are like that.
Fingers crossed as the belt is expensive and Connect haven’t got the spring listed.
Any problems I’ll let you know.
    Thanks for the help.

    Thanks Mark,
This spring is still in place but I couldn’t see what it was supposed to do so will go back today and have another look. Any chance of a part no in case it is broken? 😀

    Re: ISE1606W

Well she cancelled the last call but is back again now with a new problem.
The time display goes out before the end of the wash but she isn’t sure exactly where in the programme so she restarts the wash and away it goes…sometimes 😕 Only the time display goes out but all other lights remain.
    Any ideas please?
    Thanks

Hi, is this on the water inlet? If so what is the reed switch number as I seem to be getting a few of these lately.
    Thanks
PS. do they also fit the Bosch impeller jug?

    Re: Sandstrom Dishwasher

Thanks for the very striking replies.
On talking to the customer it emerged to be a chinky and we discussed the fact that I wouldn’t attend to it as a result so we got around to which one to buy as a replacement. A Bosch on its way to replace a 14 month old “quality, premium high-end product”

    Thanks Ken,

Thanks Mark, I’ll look when I call. Never thought of that one 😯
So it was you Jim!!!! 😀
She said today she had rung you but has put the call on hold as she doesn’t want to pay a call out if I can’t find a fault and it has been quiet over the weekend. She wants to video it banging and I’ve emailed ISE to find out if they would accept it so will keep you posted.

PS. She never mentioned the transit bolts :rolls:

    Re: Daewoo appliances warranty ?

Register with Daewoo and they give you a spares account no. and use this to invoice. The appliance has to be registered with them online or by form for the 2 yr guarantee. I tell the customer if problems to ring me first.

    Re: Daewoo appliances warranty ?

I’ve signed up direct with Daewoo. Buying them from Swift, two year guarantee and I do any repairs. Not bad machines for the price.
