ParticipantRe: SERVIS
Say what you like about the Italians but at least their government supports their workers unlike ours ie: LDV, Rover, Hotpoint, Hoover. I could go on but the sooner G>Brown and his cronies are gone the better, not that the tories will do any more but at least they don’t puport to support “The Workers” in the way labour do.

Regarding the Hotpoint factory Ken, Surely an opening for ISE 😉robbra
ParticipantRe: Diplomat (Whirlpool) ADP8500
I’ve got a Whirlpool d/w unfortunately and had this happen. The tube that feeds the top spray arm comes out of its seat behind the bottom spray arm so I had to fix with Debor and it hasn’t happened since and the wash is much better.

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher SMS4462GB/03
Hi Martin and Steve,
Went back today and found the black hose a bit crudded but only just enough to cause the water to leak out of the hole in the anti-flood valve tube although it wasn’t shutting off, cleared it and “voila” works ok, so thanks lads.
Funny though, if I put my finger over the hole it worked ok.
Sold them some d/w degreaser and everyones’s happy.
Blimey, do I owe a few pints lately.

That’s what I thought Martin but as it works on the whole programme except for this click was a bit lost so would welcome your help.
Let me know what to do 😳

ParticipantRe: SERVIS
I’ve been getting parts from JTM with AM delivery stickers on the boxes with recent dates so maybe there is some work going on in Fabriano.

ParticipantRe: Name your poison!
What’s all this about “whiskey” especially from a scotsman unless you like the non scotch stuff!
Me, I’ve a bottle of 21yr Benromach given to me and seen it on line for £65 so treating it with more respect, neat and warm. Other than that a pint of Banks’s, G&T or homemade sloe gin or ouzo. Sometimes one after the other. hic!

ParticipantRe: Servis M301W allegedly “groaning”. V belt?
Mike,
My charity is “The Piddle Inn” but seriously I’ll put mine in the local hospice shop. Which pump was it, sounds like the black Plaset as you could get it apart.
Anyway, glad to help
Rob
And remember you said you can walk in the door and without doing anything they sometimes fix themselves so wait for that knock on the door when I’m stuck 😆

Yes Mike,
this is one of the best machines AM made, simple and reliable and bloody heavy unlike the rubbish they made recently. I would sell lots if they were still around and have thought of getting one to refurb for myself as no one seems to have an old quartz 😥
Good luck with it.
Rob
Oh, and I wasn’t dissing you but if it is the pump will still put a tenner in a charity box. 😆robbra
ParticipantRe: Servis M301W allegedly “groaning”. V belt?
Mike take a pump too. Bet you a tenner to charity. The way I check, fill and then push and pull timer out several times to stop and start pump, if it clatters or groans a new one. Sometimes they need to warm up.
Trust me I’m a doct….no, wrong but 19 years on SUK machines.
