Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Spares4Appliances?_rdc=1
They’ve also got an Amazon account as well.
You’ve got move with the times but you’re correct, sometimes it’s cheaper to buy individual items from ebay. Occasionally Ebay items are much cheaper but not everything is on the Ebay shop. It doesn’t explain why stock levels vary from Ebay to trade site. I regularly check the price on Ebay shop before purchasing from Trade site.RocketMan

Panasonic Washing Machine – Emergency Door Opening Procedure
Not in user manuals but will be useful as they don’t open when the power fails or the PCB takes a hike.
I can’t get the image to show but follow the link.

ParticipantRe: WMD940P (UK) R – door seal
Found time to sort the picture. As you can see there’s a noticeable difference in the lip width. The newer one also has these ridges that also push the lip out further.
Don’t really know what to try next? I’ve double checked the seal was fitted correctly. I’ve checked the drum to make sure it’s still circular and not slightly out of shape. More difficult to tell, but the tub port hole seems fine as well.
The label on the bag the seal came in had a Hotpoint label C0011416 but then had a suppliers label of C00262267.Confused, I am, hacked off and spent too much time on this already as well as being way out of pocket 😡

ParticipantRe: WMD940P (UK) R – door seal
Thanks for the replies guys.
C00144134 does not fit as the diameter is too large. End of story.
Back to C00262267/C0011416 looks the closest. However, on further inspection, there are additional ridges which push the seal out making the lip thicker. The original is smooth and thinnner. I’m pushed for time at this moment but will upload a picture later.
I remember having similar problems with a door for a Hotp machine that had “C” in it’s model no. I think someone said this was made in China. Had two different doors direct from Hotpoint-even they didn’t quite get it right first time. What hope have we?

I’ve got no choice but to try C00144134. A tub change or incorrect Partfinder, I don’t know. If I get chance I’ll get to it today.
Thanks for the replies.

Thanks Jim. That’s two sources said the same thing. However, it’s definately doesn’t fit and the inner lip is different. Time for a cuppa and I’ll look at it again first thing. Thanks again.
