Hi,
I’ll check with the customer later but I’m pretty sure it’s right. But there’s also the number 2010 [7Kg] on the control panel which I did forget to mention in my posting. Perhaps that will help.

I know; That’s exactly the sales pitch i used to sell her that cooker. I told her it was a limited edition on sale only over the holiday period at only an extra £49.99 incl VAT. 8) But she’s now changed her mind and wants the clear glass version. Some customers are never satisfied. 🙁

Thanks for that information Andy. Since refitting the board & slave back in the machine [3 days ago] after they were tested at EMW they have been working ok! I’m wondering if I had a loose connection on one of the edge connectors. Am waiting to see what transpires.

I’ve got a similar problem although sometimes the slave unit sticks, sometimes it rotates quickly past the off position. EMW has checked the slave and pcb and found no fault. Insulation resistance of machine is 50Mohm cold, although haven’t checked it with water hot.
Has anybody got any ideas please?

I once went to a Hotpoint 95 for a door button problem and just happened to notice a 50p piece sticking firmly half way out of the outer tub near the top. I decided that getting it out and filling the hole was going to cause more problems than leaving it in so I debored it in to prevent any leaks and left it. Never heard back from the customer.

Mrs roly16 has always complained that appliances are designed by men who usually don’t have to use them. She has suggested that , [when we eventually get to have this control over the design] can there be some female input; particularly over the interior design of the dishwasher which will no doubt materialise in due course?

Seriously though guys, the machine looks brilliant; I’m sure we’re going to be on a winner here and I’m really looking forward to honing my poor selling skills when it all gets underway.
