Always use a commercial hair dryer,never thought of using a steamer,will give it a try,thanks.

ParticipantCome across loads of these making sure both channels are clear top one and one bottom right behind the evap. Its usually the drain hole freezing over but i have changed a few heaters going down to earth…..
Using a hand held steamer is much more successful and you can see that the vents are definatly cleared

ParticipantI’ve changed a couple of control boards on these usually after a power surge, one of those been completely dead after a power cut

ParticipantDoor switch which if I remember can be a nightmare to get too but I’ve changed lots of selectors on these usually overheat and melt
