Re: help with a zanussi zwx1605w

May have detected too much detergent, go into diagnostics, fill with water & drain to see if it resets itself, check its draining ok as most will lock up on start-up if theres water in it, it runs pump for a few secs & if water level doesn’t go down it will show fault, also check drain hose has air gap & it doesn’y syphon

configuration fault/errror code would be E90 something
3 beeps E30s are water level/pressure sw’ faults

Beko DW600 less than £300 for an integrated dishwasher, quite reliable

Re: help with my electrolux fridge freezer please

Likely you will find the fan in the freezer section is not blowing air into the fridge section. Fan may be blocked by ice build-up, seized or slowed up. Difficult & very fiddly to access & repair. Try defrosting totally first, you might be lucky that fan is blocked by too much frost formation & may spring to life when its defrosted.

The new Zanussi washing machines on the market now (ZWG1120M & ZWG1140M) have split tubs. 😉

try replacing the door switch first, its the cheapest option, test motor & heater for earth faults as they can throw up erroneous faults

2417570054. Check cable connections first, known to have problems with water from condensate tray getting in to plugs. There are a few kits which include diodes & caps’ for water & icemaker problems, see tech ‘ info on Tds

shouldn’t be water just steam, check fan vent is shutting & openng correctly, i’d assume its not closing fully or that the drain channel from it is blocked

    Re: Zanussi fridge/freezer problem

There are problems with the drainage tube from evaporator coming out at back being badly sealed causing over freezing in freezer section. It may be that there’s insufficiant refrigerant in this & it’s not getting cold enough to switch off hence the sheet of ice, maybe it needs topping up with gas to resolve the problem.

Sounds like a problem with the cooling fan.

Contact manufacturers as it’s under warranty, was it installed correctly by an electrician. Timer needs to be set correctly also.
