    Re: miele door seal

16 different door seals listed for this machine, most including this part number “no longer deliverable”. If you have one in stock it will do job. 4119291 at about £45 is the one i’ve in the van for this model, its got an extended lip, been in Peru for a while 😆 .
Theres a silicone door seal available for Miele machines at about £120, good if machine is used in Kitchen where theres loads of grease.

The worms are turning.. no offence meant, but i’m sure Indesh1t will be responsible for their own downfall, this is typical of stories I hear every day.

TESTED to wash a Water Lily

    New HoneycombCare System

After the world’s first electronically controlled washing machine in 1978 Miele’s new HoneycombCare System, featured on the W2000 range of washing machines once again represents a milestone in the development of washing machines.

The most eye-catching characteristic of this new drum is the smooth slightly sculptured honeycomb-patterned surface. Fewer, and smaller holes situated at the lowest points of the drum where three hexagons meet, result in a number of benefits:

A thin film of water cushions the garments from the drum. This reduces both breakage of individual fibres and pilling on delicate items.
After spinning, laundry is easier to remove from the machine, as the smoothness of the drum prevents garments from “sticking” to it.
Mechanical strain on the laundry during spinning is reduced. The new honeycomb drum does not leave a pattern on the laundry and also greatly reduces the stress caused by fabric penetrating the drum holes.
Higher spin speeds even for delicate items are now made possible so garments take a shorter time to dry and suffer less stress during tumble drying.

The new HoneycombCare System is so gentle that it even protects the most delicate items. Tests that we have carried out even included washing a water lily. Of course – what else would you expect from Miele – it came out undamaged. The WfK-Cleaning Technology Research Institute came to similar conclusions (21.12.2000) and confirmed our findings:

“The Miele honeycomb drum was the only one on which no hole pattern was left on laundry. Miele’s honeycomb drum offers considerable advantages in terms of overall water consumption. In terms of strength loss (of the tested garments), the Miele honeycomb drum shows significant benefits compared with the other machines.”

Yeah we’ve had the smoking ban here in N’ Ireland for a few weeks now & its going ok, it has been in across the border in Irish Republic for a few years so most people are not complaining. Funny my friends mum gets a home help in (carer) for an hour & she can’t smoke when the carer is there.

Lettuce will freeze at temperature of about 3 degrees, it is about 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} water. Most salad leaves are simlar.
To make matters worse some customers wash their lettuce before putting it into the fridge.

Take off top cover, see screws at front & back, think the side panels should come off then, access to fill chamber is on left hand side.

Miele don’t make their branded Refrigeration products themselves, they are mainly Haeir machines I believe.

    Hi Tony,
I use my Laptop at all times, although nothing special (Acer Travelmate) its always in the van & an esential tool for me to use.
I get a lot of my jobs via e-mail, I log in a few times during the day to read & send e-mails.
I also use it for looking up parts diagrams, fault codes, technical documents etc & ordering parts online.
I use software on it to diagose & repair Miele appliances via optical interface.

Powerpoint i’ve found are usually similar to a Servis sold in UK, they are lower end of the market machine badged as Powerpoint for sale in Republic Of Ireland. Usually sold in large stores like DID Electrical, Power City etc. Importers in Ireland I think are Shomar/Dimpco on the Longmile Road in Dublin if thats any help.

    Quinnspares (Ireland) should stock parts
