Broken neutral or live in mains supply it seems, machine brings down the mains voltage when the load is on, i’d check the mains supply. May be faulty plug, socket or switch or mains connection at machine. Have found problems with dishwashers with cable coming up door, they usually break at the hinged part of door..

ParticipantRe: home brew
We here in Ireland have an illegal potion called Poteen, & its f###ing rocket fuel, blows the head clean off you & is so potent that if you take a drink of water the next day you get slaughtered again, only to be consumed in VERY small quantities…
I was working in London in the 80s & on my regular trips home to Ireland i would stock up on some Poteen which my mom would put into water bottles, she didn’t screw the cap tightly on one and there was a leak, customs of course found the intoxicating smell outa my bags & gave me some going over. My clothes were stinking & it actually took the dye outta some of my jeans.Seamy

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFF1200 interlock wiring
I’ll answer that myself, yes it has taken out the timer, seems some cowboy was there before me & said the plug wouldn’t fit into the interlock so he cut off the locating pins with a stanley knife obviously must have put it on wrong way around, anyways tracks are blown on timer so i’m gonna try some repairs there. Wish the customer would come clean first & tell you that someone else had tryed to repair it & failed,…

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIDL126UK no power
Just to clarify,, no leds light up on machine, i thought that the door locked led should flash when you push the on/off button at least??
nothing happens, no life at all…

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIDL126UK no power
Going back again tomorrow, door didn’t lock, the door lock led should flash to tell you to lock the door.
Got another with different problem, staff say it seems to fill as its spinning & pumping out at end & when machine is finished they can see water level just at holes in drum, i explained that if it was in dryer mode it would take in water to aid condensing but they said it happens on wash programmes ??

Operating instructions for this model is part no, 5585820 FOC from Miele
if you have a problem with a repair of the dishwasher post it on here.
Most common problem customers have with this machine is that the economy programme is the longest, this is because the machine pulses a supply on & off to the heater & residual heat in element is used to heat water but takes a lot longer to complete cycle but is more economical because not as much energy is used. Often customers report machine faulty because cycle takes so long.

ParticipantRe: G.D.A BF72 int’ D’W E8 fault
Its the type with the Black Cardboard type cover on top & down the back, heater is the thru flow type heater (adjacent to circ’ pump) as used mostly in whirlpool d’w’s,, are there any resettable cut-outs on this machine? I think there is a built in overheat device on heater from memory, can anyone confirm this

ParticipantRe: meile g646
MMmmm seems as if the vent is not closed properly, i take it you are referring to the extractor fan outlet on the top LHS, this should of course be closed & only open for drying cycle, so i recommend you look there for the fault.

ParticipantRe: large syringe
How big is this thing? is it like a turkey baster? would it hold a cup of water for instance? I got quite a large syringe from a vet once but they are not made for long term use, the rubber end always stuck inside syringe & handle pulled off..
