Re: Zanussi Jetstream 1003 Drum does not revolve

Is there any movement of the drum up & down? If there was any movement in it, its possible the belt came off. Worse case scenario it could be motor or bearing failure, both quite expensive to repair. Delay in switching on could be a failing door locking device, that would’nt be too expensive to repair.

Most likely the EWM2500 main control board, power comes in on the U3 plug which is mounted sideways, plug has green end on it I think, there is an on/off action switch built in to the programme selector.
Not much you can do with the P.C.Bs except swap over, but is theres a 4 tag door interlock i’d change it too.

Re: Beko WM 5140 W pump filter issue

If you feel competent, :lesson: with power off first of course, you could unscrew the pump mounting screws from front, take off hoses.
Take pump unit from filter noting the position it was mounted.
Remove the debris & put it all back together again.
Run appliance on a rinse to check its working o.k & not leaking.

Faults on the Mini LCD Beko machines start with “E”.
No water intake will however display the conditioner symbol & “C”.
Child lock on would have a padlock symbol displayed, simply hold in the 2 buttons indicated by padlock sign until it unlocks.

Not really advisable either as its a safety device & the appliance should’nt be run without it.
It is extremely dangerous, you should isolate the appliance & not use it in that condition.
We would have to advise you get an engineer to look at it.

    Re: Beko WME7267W Door Fault

There are 2 things to consider, mechanical & electrical faults.
The door may not be closing because its not mechanically fitted correctly, the spring may not be strong enough, the door seal may not be allowing it in far enough for instance.
Electrically it could be that the cable from lock to circuit board is not in right or making bad connection.
Why was the inner door trim replaced?

    Shaun..
Have you checked the water circuit, pump & float switch?
Its probably got a full signal from float switch & switches on pump, if pump doesn’t reset float level switch after a set time, i’d reckon it flags up a fault code.

It looks like a motor fault, its lsted in the service manual that a 60/30 fault means that power has been sent to motor but no signal received back from the tacho, maybe the motor brushes are worn.

Would think that if its an insurance one i’d be reporting it as B.E.R.

1826 then is your answer? not yet known Miele brand a Hotpoint or Hoover. 😉

And also what machine out of any make, is the easiest to work on, and the most reliable, 😉

Not sure that Hotpoint & Hoover were the most reliable, its more likely that because they were a British machine and very common, with parts being readily available for them making them easy to repair, but they were in my humble opinion not a good as the aforementioned appliances, how many Hotpoints or Hoovers have you seen over 30 y’old?
I’ve seen many many Hoover & Hotpoints but by time for the 30 candles they were rusted through.
