Sounds like it my not be getting enough air, the primary air intake is from the rear, sometimes the insulation can foul it. Also if burner is not fitted correctly & is to far to the right ( to near jet) it can cause bad flame. Does it still have orange flame with oven door open?

If it had ELE on display it seems someone was at it prior to you looking at it as it should’nt be in diagnostic mode, ELE means the last fault was power has been disrupted. E90 means its not recognising the position of the dial or the PCB configuration is wrong, wrong PCB for appliance for instance, or thats its corrupted. To reset the faults simply hold in the 2 buttons that you held to access faults codes, hold in buttons for a few seconds while in position 10 for reading faults. It should clear & read E00 if you’ve done it correctly.

That is a Stocko IDC connector, its not available on its own but the complete appliance cable loom is available as a spare part 1528306069

Is it simply that the clock is not set in manual & ovens are not operating?
The oven light on these would come on even if clock is not in manual IIRC.

Re: fridge freezer too cold – new thermostats fitted

Hopefully you have already checked that if theres a fast freeze switch it is’nt switched on, its not on all the range .

Otherwise you could check that the phial of thermostat is properly positioned & in far enough. It sounds like its not in the correct position on the fridge evaporator to sense the temperature.

You will need to repair the blown tracks on the timer P.C.B for it to work correctly when the new interlock is fitted.

:lesson: It should be stated that its not recommended to bypass the door interlock switch on any appliance as its a safety device.

Re: Miele G1230SC Dishwasher motor seized

On the Miele dishwashers which have’nt been used for a while you can actually turn the impellor from the sump of the appliance by using a tool like a tuning fork which is available to Miele engineers, there was an issue with the carbon seal used on them drying up & sticking.
If this one is seized solid, theres a slot on the end of motor shaft, by turning it with a large flat screwdriver & jamming the impellor, it should screw off.

Would suspect this is caused by overloading & the drum scraping against the glass.
Once its scored it can shatter at any time.

Re: Whirlpool with water pooled in soap drawer (awm8103/s)

Karen, it sounds like the soap has congealed in the soap dispenser to tub hose, in the U of the hose. If you carefully push something flexible into the hole going down from bottom of detergent compartment, when you’ve pulled out drawer of course. This may break up the blockage & allow water to go through, a little hot water poured in carefully of course may help it to disperse, but of course be carefull as we don’t want you getting scalded.
Otherwise its dismantling it & getting inside to the hose.
    Power off!
This can be reached by taking off door seal & reaching inside & squeezing hose can cure the problem, again be carefull if theres hot water present. Hope this helps.

Just looked at circuit diagram, no num’ 16 on, edge connectors should have numbers like J1 to J6 etc.
You would need to use a multimeter to test it, & other components to check which is at fault.
Sometimes even if a door interlock blows for instance it can take out p.c.b, similarly pump, motor & heater short circuits will damage p.c.b.

Likely the door interlock is shorted & has also blown the P.C.B. Check cable from interlock to P.C.B for burn marks also. Power off of course if working on it.

    Re: ewn14780w w/m

Interlock should have a little button on it & if its pushed in it should release. Have a look at a new interlock & you’ll see the locking pin that comes out when closed. Lots of these going faulty & not releasing.
