NTC is pushed up from bottom, taken out by turning 1/4 turn. Check relay on p.c.b, they’re prone to bad contacts & sticking.

Electrolux appliances are normally rebadged for John Lewis, in fact their washers are A.E.G, not sure about the Refrigeration though & don’t know this model though.

Re: Zanussi ZX97/5Si How to get to the evaporator part

If its a ZX97/5Si it should have a circuit board. Theres two listed for them in parts diagram for every version, a display circuit board & a main control circuit board.
But of course it may not be the problem, fan is likely slowed up or jammed as cpt’ has posted or defrost circuit is faulty. Fan is at back of cooling evaporator at top of freezer cabinet, not easy to ascess. Careful you don’t damage cabling or pipework getting to it.

Fan control fuse? Do you mean the thermal cut-out?
Hard to tell without testing, but likely its the lamp unit or element shorting to earth. :lesson: Power off if doing any testing or checks of course.

Maybe fan problem, fan in freezer blows cold air up to fridge via ducting & past a motorised flap actuator that opens & closes depending on temperature selected.

Agree that with an error code E20 it points to pump problem. Appliance can show up motor fault on long programmes as motor could out on high temperature cut-out, this seldom happens on low temp’ shorter washes.
Pump 1323239002 would do the job for you i’d think, is it the same as this?

How many times does it flash?
Its could be the main motor is at fault or 3 phase supply to it, than the pumps, i’d think.
Count the flashes (beep beep alarm) & report back please, it will help to identify the problem.

If you open the door during the cycle is it hot inside, e/g is heater on? There could be a blockage of the ducting/fan & its not circulating hot air correctly.

    Re: AEG Electrolux Lavamat 66819

Circulation pump should start up after filled to correct level, not heat dependant.
When it skips to end does it flash & if so how many times? When you say that the clothes are soaked at the end it may point to motor error.
Will it spin on full spin position?

Re: AEG Lavamat Turbo L16830 – Which PCB?

Yeah an ohm meter normally won’t pick up an earth fault on the drier element, if its reading 1.5Mohm across to earth its likely thats causing the problem. I you take note of the cables position on the heater, take them off, tape them up. Try appliance on wash programme without drier heater in circuit & see does it go through programme without bringing up error codes.

Door interlock needs replacing, its sticking & not giving signal back to P.C.B that door has released.
