    the plug on the bottom corner on its own with a 2 terminal connection, from mains filter j1 connection.

    iv had this before, i think it must be to deflect the heat upwards away from the base

    i have 1 and use it a lot, plus baron when programming a smartcard pcb if you just connect live and neutral on corner works everytime .

    check pcb for blown triacs, if its a new board will prob need programing .

    its a wind up gotta be, clearly he doesnt know too much about them as he would have said the brushroll is knackered, as far as im aware it comes complete.

    are the front lights still flashing ? on these machines you need to reset pcb by turning both fridge and freezer knobs at same time to off wait a few secs then turn them both on.

    on/off button and cancel buttons sticking give same problems, have had the microswitches ripped off by heavy handed customers pushing button too hard.

    just to get back on track a bit, you said that the spray arm was clonking, the 1st thing i would be checking is tall plates or pans hitting spray arm or most common now is them hanging fragrances obstructing top arm.

    i think there is an old posting on this issue, its been happening for years i have opened a few modules only to find it covered in carbon dust and cut bag ties inside, not to mention paper with spanish, german instructions.
