I hung up on her. I’m waiting to see what happens next.Personally I never hang up on a customer, it seems to make them worse. I hold the phone away from my ear, and let them rant. When they say ‘are you still there’ is when I speak. As they don’t know at what point you stopped listening, they have usually calmed down.

ParticipantRe: Dealing With “Call Backs”
I was once accused of ignoring an imminant fault after repairing the reported fault. just to get another repair at a later date. I took exception to that, as I allways repair whats needed, or point out potential faults. And I am allways aware of not fitting unnecassary parts. Sometimes i think we are dammed if we do, and dammed if we don’t.

ParticipantRe: Diplomat 610 Oven
I temp tested on 100c, Which seemed OK. The problem is it takes Forever to get there, and I’m spending a lot of time just watching it.

ParticipantRe: Electrolux W3180H, 22E error showing.
Every time I’ve seen this I take the pressure chamber off and give it a good clean. It usually cures the problem. If you get a blocked drain valve or waste pipe it usually gives error code E10

Try here http://www.laundrysystems.electrolux.co.uk/Default.aspx
E10 usually means blocked drain valve, or waste pipe

If the belt is broken there is a micro switch on the jockey pulley arm, which will stop it working. I have also replaced a few door switches.
