    Re: Whirlpool Washer/Dryer AWZ412

The valve readings are all ok. The valve is getting a double live and i disconnected the hose pipe from the stat and still nothing. This has me baffled.

    Re: Incomplete fault code list

Hi Dave, (from the service manual)

    F6 Water tap close

water valve (WV1) is switched on but flow meter (FM) senses no impulses (less than 10 impulses in 10 secs) and the water indicator (WI) is at a low level
    water tap closed
    water inlet hose blocked
    water inlet valve (WV1) defective
flow meter (FM) defective (leads to FM failure)

    Kind regards

    Re: Hotpoint WMA63 bearing

Yes these are stubborn little so and so’s. Do as Martin says get a flat edged chisel and a lot of patience. You say you moved it a mm. Pesevere and it will come out. Just make sure you get a good hold on the bearing case with the chisel or a long thick screwdriver……………Good luck. Remember patience not frustration and you will conquer this.

Re: hotpoint wma32 washer, drum lifters breaking

    Hi Caz,
You must have the right lifters because if you had the wrong ones you would not be able to fit them, they differ where the little clips that fit into the drum.(You would not be able to line them up)

Re: hotpoint wma32 washer, drum lifters breaking

    Hi Caz,
Just a thought to put forward to you when you replace the lifters. At the front of the drum (where the lifter will go) you will see a metal tab. This has to be lifted before putting the new lifters on. I raise the tab quite high so that when you put the new lifter on it cannot be pulled forward far enough for it to come loose. Hope this helps

Re: Ariston Margherita 2000 – I also have a problem!

I had a call like this just the other day. It turned out to be the waste pipe was stuffed all the way to the bottom of the outlet pipe causing siphoning. Then the machine just stopped. I raised the waste pipe to the normal level and the customer has informed me that it was working ok now (they had just moved house). Have a look at your waste pipe and see if it is pushed all the way down, if it is raise it up. If you have a connection that goes into your sink trap disregard the above notice. Hope this helps

Re: Creda washing machine burning out motors

There have been problems with the replacement brushes on hotpoint and creda machines and there solution is to fit a new motor which requires you to cut of the white motor plug loom and rewire with a yellow plug in the kit. Hence re con motors have the brushes in that fail often. You can tell what type of brush is in the motor. If it is a nylon type brush it is the unreliable one. The old type were a pot type which could withstand the heat from the motor. Hope this helps

If it is not the door lock it will be a combination of a new door lock and control module……be warned if it is the door lock do not try a new control board with the old door lock……..

I service Samsung machines but you would have to give me the model number and a bit more info. I might be able to help you.
