http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DT2G-Microwav … 3373d002bbHi: Those are not a bad bit of kit actually, been useing 1 for about 2 years now & never had any problems with it, checked it against my Celtek a couple of times to make sure. As Gerry said, I check every Micro for leakage when I’ve finished a repair especially on Commercial stuff.

Hi: You could find that there’s a blockage in the pressure sensing system, which could cause the machine to think that it’s already full and throw up an error.
You need to find the pressure switch on your machine, once you’ve found this if you follow the small pipe comming from the bottom of it you should see the pressure vessel where it enters the tub. It only takes a small amount of sediment to block the inlet to the pressure vessel & stop correct sensing.
If you carefully remove this vessel & make sure that it’s clean you may be lucky, take care when re-fitting that no water enters the vessel otherwise the pressure switch won’t operate properly. As allways power off first.

Hi: To check the water inlet valves for continuity, make a note of the wires to the valve coil and remove them. If using a standard manual ranging meter you will need to set it to the 20 Kilohm range, Short the 2 test leads together to make sure the meter reads ok. Now place your leads across the terminals of the valve coil & make sure you have continuity, you don’t need to worry about resistance value just that you have a continuous coil. Once you’ve done this replace the leads on the coil & repeat the procedure for any other valves.

Hi Rodney: Unfortunately if removing or replacing the Module involves removing Cabinet parts / Panels then the same Legal constraints apply & we’re not allowed to give out any advice on your cooker or replacing parts on it.

Hi Merv: Going on your description I honestly don’t think changing the switch carrier is going to cure your problem, as you said it’s not blowing the fuse it’s just dying as if it’s being run at capacity & gives up the ghost. 1st thing i’d do would be to put an Ammeter across the fuse carrier, turn the machine on/off a few times & programme it etc to see what current is being drawn.

ParticipantRe: INdesit WIL103 pump/drainage issue
Hi: It’s quite possible that your outlet pump has been damaged by the blockage you described & the error codes are normally pretty accurate. However the fault shown could also be due to bad connections to the Power PCB in the rear bottom Right of the machine (Looking from the front)broken wiring or indeed the PCB itself going faulty. You would be best advised to check the wiring & connections from the pump to PCB first before buying a pump, the wiring from the pump to PCB can be easily checked for continuity with a Multimeter set to it’s lowest ohms range.

Hi Merv: Sorry I took so long to reply, as you said originally it could be due to duff pins on the socket. Would’nt be the first time a customers Electrics 😕 an Engineer & caused them to pull their hair out with an intermittent fault 😆

Can you break it open when you get to it & see if it’s vaporised or just opened? Sorry if i’m teaching granny to suck eggs. It’s not by any chance connected via an extension lead? had 1 a while back kept blowing the internal fuse intermittently & the only thing I came up with was the extension lead had loose pins, since it’s been plugged in direct they’ve never had the problem again.
Intermittent faults are a pain in the A**Andy

Going back tomorrow?? has it popped again? Forgot to ask is it a glass fuse or ceramic? & if glass is it blackened when it blows or just opening the fusewire?
