A bit of wear/deterioration,no worries yet though, maybe a note in your diary to check again in 3 or 6 months.
It’s part of the flange but doesn’t affect the integrity of the seal.

Sounds like a new fan motor, should start up and run quickly enough to circulate the air so even temp in oven.
Fairly straight forward exchange, switch off at mains first !!

Some modern commercial dish and glass washers wont start the cycle until the rinse boiler has heated up.

Usually a switch or reed switch fault, must switch off when door is open as last rinse is 85c ish so a facefull of that isn’t healthy, some have drain pumps some not (gravity drain).

There is a nice granite top seats 8 which has a charcoal top and a traditional bbq in the centre.
Everyone would be meddling and chipping in with their ten pennoth about whats cooked and whats not,not on IMO.
BBQ is,always was and always will be strictly a male preserve so access should be severely restricted.

Yes inner drum and back plate come out,not a bad job to do.
When pulling the back plate retainer ring back up with the bolt keep tapping the metal retainer ring around it’s outer circunference to persuade it to pull tight, and make it easier too.

As you look down in the sump it’s to the right, bayonet fitting from underneath so not too difficult to take off and clean, plinth off and it’s tucked behind the sump hose.

Undo the nut right to the end of the the threaded shaft and tap the nut towards the heater bracket until it rests against it,releases the tension of the back plate which pulls up the rubber seal, then as per Martins’s inst.
Life wasn’t meant to be easy 😉
Had one at a hairdressers the other day, crudded up,30 degree washes only (couldn’t afford the electric,:rolls: ) in a hard water area.
Using towels on customers hair that had been washed at 30,like a nit breeding factory, couldn’t tell them though, they already had all the answers !

    Re: Washer heater removal tool

If there is a sensor fitted substantial pointed nose pliers can be inserted and twisted to pull the seal away from the outer rim on one edge,it’s then easy to pull it out.
If no sensor then pointed nose pliers can still twist the seal,a hole drilled through the rubber would give more purchase too.
No danger of cracking the flimsy outer drums which are around now either.

    Thanks,resolved:
Oven has a storage section underneath with a drop down door.
The oven has a lower base which is held in place by two screws at the rear, front just sits on ledge, remove screws, base drops down and insulation then element slides forward and down.
