Empty freezer, switch off for 48 hours so all that ice can defrost,or do it with a hairdryer, switch off and DONT use any metallic objects.
If it happens again in a couple of weeks you may have a defrost issaue,if not,Bingoooooo !

If they get too close behind you, stand up and step back,if you don’t bump their head you stand on their toe.
£10.00 for “come round the side door”
£5.00 for no offer of tea, double if they are drinking one.
£10 for “this is becoming regular event”
    on and on etc

Lady said I’ll be out,the decorator is there but he’s deaf, anyway got in.
Cold water fitting was those plastic clamped ones that bore the hole,I swear I didnt apply much pressure but it broke, full cold shower, trying to hold the leak at the same time as shouting the deaf decorator, several minutes passed and he just popped in to see how I was getting on.
The stop cock was behind some oak panels in the hall, luckily he knew where it was,was about 20 years ago but I’m still in shock

The number will be on the inside of the fridge on a side wall often in the salad tray area.

Using a hand held steamer is much more successful and you can see that the vents are definatly cleared

Always use a commercial hair dryer, never thought of using a steamer, will give it a try, thanks.

They sometimes have the codes in the manual if you can find it.
Failing that it’s easy to test the rinse and wash heaters for continuity and earth leakage, bottom plinth off, both usually to the left.

Presuming ice is on inside of freezer, possibly defrost problem, you will need to switch it and leave with door open for 48 hours, yes 48 hours to ensure that all ice is gone from behind the back plate of the freezer, what you see is just the front,it will be all iced up around the fan.
There will be lots of water from defrost. Then switch on again and see how fridge runs,if it happens again in a couple of weeks it’s engineer time.

    Re: Problem with fridge freezer

Likely a fault in the defrost system which usually shuts down when it recognises a fault.
    Possibly engineer time.
