If it’s pushed oil out it’s a significant leak and would need repairing before re gassing.

Could be fault around the pcb/module area or a poor connection/short circuit.
    Power off first !

Motor is OK,no earth faults, might take it off to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure though.

If you have it on S “fast freeze/super freeze” when you turn back to N or normal it will switch off because the cabinet will be cold enough for the thermostat to switch of, as it should when the req’d temp is reached,it will come back on when the cabinet temp rises again.

Re: Hotpoint FFA90 fridge warm – seal problem?

Seal for panel could be this one 2601691,available online.
Main door seal could be a contributing factor if it has any tears or the door has dropped through worn hinges.
positioning of sensor could be also involved as it’s there to “feel” when the temperature has risen enough to melt the ice.Common for noise from the ice and expansion etc.

Sounds like you need a new fan motor. The “e” no is important for identification you should be able to get one from this site, click on the relavent lead on the left.
Or bosch and neff have their own spares site which can be found via google.

Simple set up,the fridge will be struggling either because of a lack of refrigerant or poor compressor performance.
Engineer or new fridge req’d 🙁

Sounds like there has been a slight refrigerant loss.
Can be topped up but if the leak can’t be found and repaired then it may re occur in time.
You would need an engineer to check the refrigerant, etc.

Terminal 6 usually supplies the light and 4 the compressor, looks like the thermostat could be your problem.
They are probably available on this site somewhere.

Re: Ariston Fridge/Freezer not cold enough and bad ODOUR

There is very litttle smell from the refigerant.
Poor temps are due to either
1 loss of some of the refrigerant
2 poor ventilation when fitted into cupboards etc
3 loss of compressor efficiency r system blockage of some sort

1 Is the ice forming evenly all over the back wall of the fridge? does it defrost off on it,s own?
2 is there adequate ventilation when it is fitted into the cupboard ?
    3 would require engineer diagnosis

Re: IBERNA INTEGRATED FRIDGE IBUL 150K. WILL NOT COOL

Unplug first, you would need an avo type meter to check continuity ie there is a circuit through the thermostat connections.Note the colours and numbers of terminals on thermostat, remove connections you should then have a circuit though the thermostat,if you haven’t it’s your thertmostat if you have a circuit it’s probably the motor
    Avo type meter

Re: IBERNA INTEGRATED FRIDGE IBUL 150K. WILL NOT COOL

Don’t know this model but presume it’s an undecounter fridge with no freezer section.
If so is the thermostat inside the cabinet or along the top, could be as simple as the thermostat,if you get an engineer in could cost you 70ish to repair so better than buying a new one. Switch and unplug before dismatleing anything.
