The green light i the mains indicator,ie it’s powered up.
The orange one is the fast freeze switch,so if you are putting fresh food to freeze down in, you switch that on 12hours plus before,it bye passes the thermostat and pulls the temp down lower than normal so the fresh food freezes quicker, the quicker fresh food is frozen the better the quality.

Don’t do sales at the minute, haven’t done re-cons for 20 years or so.new machines are such a dissapointment I’ve pulled the plug on them too,all to reduce hassle where possible.
it’s easier when you are nearing retirement you can pick and choose when you have no overheads bar the vehicles, different when there is a mortgage and kids etc to finance.
Customers what can you say that hasn’t been said on here, there are always some gems waiting around the corner who make up for rest and help keep the faith.
Went into a house to repair a microwave and asked the lady”what’s the problem with it?” she replied in a strained voice “”your supposed to be the expert” ansd stormed upstairs 😯 .
About turned and walked out,I’m no phsychiatrist just an engineer!

Not sure you have a problem,if temps are OK in each compartment it shows it is performing OK.
F/F will normally run for 20 to 30 minutes at a time to get down to temp and longer if the door is opened frequently or the weeks shopping has just been put in.
Think you will have warning light to tell you of problem if there is one on this model.
If you are not convinced then suggest getting a repairer in to check for correct operation.

There is a facility somewhere on this site to locate the nearest member of the trade site to you
The thermistors for the freezer are behind the false wall at the rear, can’t remember off hand where the one for the fridge is.
Wouldn’t usually be a sign of a leak unless it’s a fractured pipe, there may be a trace of oil,the refrigerant is an isobutane so vapourises at atmospheric pressure.
If the motor runs for 30 minutes and then cuts out is it very hot to the touch, that could be an indication of refrigerant loss

    Just got back 😀 🙁
The fridges now running on r600a which yours is are notoriously noisey, bubbling gurgling etc is common, horrible compared to the old stuff,progress/saving the planet 😕
As the weather is a bit warmer fridges will naturally run for longer periods dependant on which room they are housed in.
Buy a couple of decent thermometers to compare the cabinet temps,if all is well don’t pay it too much attention,as it is a noisier machine you will notice it more.
If the milk on th corn flakes is a bit off then it’s a different matter.

A thirtysomething wife says to her husband I fancy getting a boob job. The Husband says how much will that cost? The wife says £10,000, The Husband says why don’t you save money and rub your boobs with toilet paper. The wife says how does that help. The husband replies you have been rubbing it on your backside and it seems to have worked.

May not be unusual in warmer times for the motor to run for that long.
Not set on fast freeze is it ?
If the ambient /room temp is higher it will run for longer.
What are the temps of the compartments ?

On4e compressor supplies both via the frost free evaporator set up in the rear of the freezer,it blows cold air from the freezer up to the fan.
No simple thermostats as it’s run by te pcb and temp sensors.
Sounds like you need an engineer to establish the exact item that is faulty.
Sorry for delay in reply, lots of folks on hols.

It won’t pump out every drop although it should only be visable when you take the filters out,if it is still covering the filters then you do have a problem.

Was in Catalunya for the two Spanish stages, saw Millar in the lead going into Barcelona from a unique vantage point,we were right next to the beach on a roundabout, bar to the left and nudist beach to the right 😀 plenty of bike stands there!!.
Then up to Andorra next day,two and a half hours to get up there from Barcelona, they were around 5 hours on a bike, they came past us 3 miles from the top (160mile stage) and looked as fresh as daises.Armstrong is one tough hombre.
Then had 3 weeks near Denia, and road over a couple of decent climbs myself, one week back to work now tan washing off, Ive come over all depressed.
    Can’t wait for next year,probably won’t!
Still I’ll try and look on the bright side The Mighty Imps won their opening fixture for the first time in many years.

Had a brand new cargo a few years ago which from new pulled to the left, went back several times to the main agent, they alledgedly got an engineer from the factory. Why I asked does it need help to go in a straight line, normal he said
.Have a friend in the tyre trade who said he would have alook, got the alignment settings and did it in around 30 minutes, problem cured.
They also charged me near £160 for a service and never took tyhe wheels off,I showed them the marks I had put on the wheel nuts and refused to pay ,never heard from them or used main agents again.
    Stick local.

Peugot Expert with the HDi engine gives 700 plus miles for £84,driven in the countryside with my right foot a little more gentle as I get older.
Plus it’s pretty well loaded to capacity and has given very little trouble, plus with the son in law running a garage the bills are suprisingly low for service. 😀
