Re: Zanussi FJDR1666W – attempting bearing replacement

Major job which has to be done in sequence, removing electrical connectors heaters/stats etc, removal of outer drum, splitting of the outer drum and removing inner drum shaft from bearings.
You can then see if the shaft is damaged assuming you are of a technical/mechanical nature and be able to recognise same etc.
Replace parts and do it all in reverse.
1hr-30min job for an experinced engineer.
First time with or without mechanical aptitude would be hard to say how long it would take, assuming you had no leaks etc on re assembly.

    Re: floor damage

Had a similar problem with whhirlpool BI D/W with bolts for legs, shockers.
In the end the ost of replacement was £20 dearer than my excess so tinned out, felt sick for a couple of days after though.
No upgrade’s if like me you know someone in the flooring trade get their advice and help and depending on your insurance terms decision can be made.
Better to keep customer and try and recoup in later years.

Nitrogen makes up 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the atmosphre at sea level so we are inhaling it all the time, hen it reaches 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} then it’s curtains!with oxygen at less than 17{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} before inhalation in the atmosphere it;s the main atmospheric gas.
When using oxygen free nitrogen for pressure testing or when brazing refigeration systems it can be vented without restriction.
High concentration of gas in any form is hazardous.
