Just got some prices and it’s good, so I’m going for this! πŸ™‚

Terminal cost is Β£22 with roaming.

“With roaming” means that the terminal switches automagically from one network to another, in other words, it just works wherever there’s a signal whether it’s Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone or whatever, it doesn’t care what network it uses.

    K.

Ken to confirm is this a one off fee of £22 or a monthly rate? 😳

    Hi Guys

Just to say those who have not had chance to get to the show then all I can say is try.

Even if its for a couple of hours after work there are open from 10.30-7.30.

There are some good offers and discounts from the various suppliers grab them while you can.
Some freebie pen, mugs and goodie bag got to be worth it for those πŸ˜†

    Daewoo
    White Knight
    Amica
    Luxair
    Hotpoint
    HooverCandy
    Zanussi
    Whirlpool
    waste disposals, taps, lighting

Chance to win a ferrari, alright not quite, chance to race in one buy a raffle ticket! πŸ˜‰

garn wrote:is there any chance an extra trade discounts on supplying these appliances as we are retailers and repaires i think its only fare the Β£rate on a fix is not to be snubed at but if you count the whole of the job fix up inc the disposal of the old parts there is not a great deal Β£.. in the job.

iv only had to breakdowns out of 53 units iv sold since amica launched in 2008 the last to 14 months old and 6 months
the customer had to wait a few weeks for a repair and the 2nd one i put a hoover machine as a loan .

an extra trade dicount would encourage SALES AND TAKE THE PAIN OUT apoljizing with your cap in your hand to the customer because i sold the appliance.

The appliances are cheap enough any way, you can easily make Β£100 box if not more, Β£5k profit on sale of 53 units not bad?!

Swift already has dropped the trade price with discount for being a WTA member!
Are you going to their show, you may get some extra discount on the day?

You say you have only had 2 breakdowns out of 53 which goes to show they been installed properly and your customer using them correctly so not bad πŸ˜€
The one 14mths would i guess be the polish one failed as a result of dispenser leak or weight issue and the 6 mths chinese one pcb or weight issue?
Two jobs at Β£50 a pop

If you pre diagnosed and ordered the parts as soon as the job was in then you would not have had to loan the one, the maximum weight time I have had was only a week, that was for a cock up at the factory on bearings for the AWP range!

I dont get where the problem is ❓

Swings and roundabouts as they say πŸ˜‰

You may already do this, but if not a quicker way is to highlight all and use the find option stick in a few words may get you to a code!

I really, really haven’t had time to get backdrops and stuff this past week. Stupid busy.

Stay away from competitions IMO, tacky. Apart from which you’re there to promote the WTA and what it does and, it’s cheap as chips already which should be incentive enough. Getting the message/s out is the larger issue.

I’m still mulling the being there thing. If I can I’ll aim for whatever day you’re short but I really can’t guarantee I’ll manage.

Also, changed the meeting registration page subtly as it needed a few things sorted.

    K.

Yes get your point just thought it would be away to get peoples details to do a follow up, after the event just to keep things live.

We really need this one to be the dogs bolloc πŸ˜† to get everyone to really start to take us seriously.
I would like to have got there on the Tuesday but the mrs works early and I got take daughter to school :rolls: , if I can change then I could arrive a bit later!

The ERT thing Lawrence would be good for you to have a chat, this could get us in the lime light and some more free publicity.

Ade you been a bit quiet of late 😐 you not talking to me πŸ˜₯

Right just a week away πŸ˜€

Whats the plan so far ❓

What display stuff are we going to advertise? is it just the pop up banners now?

What happen to the pin board idea? with photos, other ad stuff etc,?
eg who are we, when and why did the ta start?
How many members do we have
    what are the benefits
what do we do for our members

have we got in place all the membership forms, business cards, promotional stuff etc for people to take away?

Have we got enough cups, pens and stuff to give away?

Are we gonna offer a discount of 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} if they sign up immediatly?

How about a enter competetion draw type of thing with, get a years free membership, year supply of detergent? or something else?

Is there any more volunteers to give Bryan a hand on the first day, which will probably be the busiest? and probably generate the most interest, need someone with experience πŸ˜‰ Ade are you able to do this?

I get all sides here, but we do need something for the afternoon session?
As you say people do get bored and drift off.
We either need to fill the room with many more suppliers or need to try something different.
We dont know until we try it.

So why not put a poll up and see what interest we get?

    Say 3 options,
eg PAT course of some sorts, refrigeration , and other suggestion you would like us to bring to the show in the future?
After all this is for the guys so leave it to them to see what they would like see there?

We need to get some feed back as we need to reserve someone? only 4 months πŸ˜†

I did see a thing from BT saying that you had to reset your router though, basically switch it off and back on again after a few seconds.

    K.

Did the 3 minute switch off of versatility system, problem is shuts off the whole phone system!
Rebooted all the computers and still played up.
Did this twice! worked for a bit then dropped out again!

BT did a 15 minute test on the line and then it came back on line.
By then it was home time!

Will see how it goes tomorrow!

Right I have just wrote off a small email to Daewoo, with some info.

I also sent a quick one to Statesman with a bit saying ‘there will be a fee like last time’ HINT ❗ HINT ❗ :rolls:
Had a call back with him quoting this and he as far as he knew unless patrick dealt with it then they recieved no invoice?
I gave them a rough idea for now 250-300 told them spaces are limited and if they want to have a presance then need to know as soon as! πŸ˜†
They are currently involved with CIH group with their products and patrick is in scotland drumming up business.
Anyone have contacts with CIH? would it be worth inviting someone?

Can you put the information regarding the feb 2012 show on the TA home page?

This way when people are directed to the website they can locate the details straight away?
