I think you only have access to this if you do thier repair work via the repaircare tab on the menu bar.

    Re: ISE 5 no spin.

I always spend far too to long when installing these machines explaining as much as possible on how different it is from their old one it worth it as saves a lot of hassell later on.

I know its not rocket science but as Ken said c/x never read the book

So I find explaining the basics saves those unwanted calls from the c.x. a few days or months later.

I am not telling anyone how to suck eggs, most have been doing this job longer than me and you probably already expalain this, as c/x wont read the instruction manual I find this basic check list helps.

    1) Selecting the correct program and sorting load into whites / lights colors etc (always mix load ),
    2) Never do just a towel load due to the excessive weight can cause oob.
    3) Timings in the display ( They are just a guide, the timings can go up as well as down this is due to the fuzzy logic checking and adjusting load).
    4) OOB (All new later appliances have this have this safety feature some can be more senistive than others, but its there to stop damage to the machine)
    5) Fill the appliance with the mixed load leaving a hands height at the top
    6) Service washes when and how ofton.
    7) Cleaning and checking the filter (show how to access it behind kick plate)
8 Wiping out door seal after loads leave door open where possible.
    9) Switching off the applaince at mains after use.
    10) DONT WASH BATH MATS (your old machine may have been able to but be aware new machines may OOB
    11) Hand washing one or two items may not spin properly.

This covers most angles of c/x related faults!

    Re: miele g646 sci plus

I hope you dont mind I am going to jump in on this post and ask about a fault on the same model G646 sc I have of not heating?

Fills and washes to correct level, pressure valve operates so has enough pressure of water in the system, but does not heat.
It has a relay contactor inline with the heater, the relay has no supply to it at the point it should be heating it appears to be supplied direct from pcb.

Any one come across this fault, could it be a pcb fault or is there something else iam missing?

Me too, really quiet as well.

Agree stickers were handy save making a mistake on writing.

One issue if you have noticed all the cotton washes default to 1000RPM, you have to go to spin option and go through every one until it selects 1400. Just a bit annoying. have told customer its just an eco saving option, only time you need it is for towels etc.

Do you replace the transit crossbar back on machines for extra support?

    Re: Attention CDA Agents…………..

Yep known for some time they were doing this. They have had their own engineers who do most of the work now for several months.

They only now use indies for overflow, out of populated areas, cover holidays, or cr*p their engineers dont want to or cant do.

Told about this months ago, had a letter recently confirming this. They still want indies as agents, want us to update our profile and lnforming me of what they will pay us for in guarantee work and out.
