Whats your email address, i have a sevice manual that may help.

It mentions you need 240v supply to contacts 2&3 door lock to unlock.
so may be a main pcb problem or one of the Klixons.

Is there a way of reducing the cost by and halving the guarantee and selling as a 5 Year, you no you will probably never get a problem with them any way?

OUCH, I wasnt expecting that, 8O,

I know the quality and guarantee is there but just for a vented dryer there is not much in it.

I was guessing it would be around £450-500 Max

Has any one got pre orders yet?

Yes sorry I said I would let you know the out come.

I explained the situation to landlady, as no way of knowing how this has occured and suggested if she is happy to go halfs of the cost price of the part and i will also cover the labour which she agreed.

    Job done.

I wish all customers were so accomodating, she could have point blankly refused, landlady very understanding.

Dont see the point they could have used that money he is being paid on a rate rise for the agents.

    What is technical about Servis?

In most cases the jobs requiring motors or pcb are being written off any way.

Re: LG GRL207DXZA FRIDGE TOO COLD

No water dispensing is the same reason the veggies are frozen, the bottle cooler in the fridge is probably iced up.

There is a small slide vent at the base of the fridge to allow more or less air from the freezer, close off the vent, you need to check that the vent does close up the polystrene insert can jam it.

According to LG tech, you can completely block off the vent it doesnt have any effect on the unit.

Its simple, pull off the short loop hose at the top of the back panel from the connector nearest the side panel, leave that hose dangling and fit the supplied extension hose to the connector where the other hose had just been.

Yes c/x got book but has probably connected wrong hose?

At the time c/x was using the draw to collect now wants to use the drain hose.

    Re: Yell.Com

We did one similar with a dedicated number and recorded stats etc with guaranteed calls.

Found it very odd when we kept getting quite a few calls via this number to arrange service call, but a day later the so say c/x calls back to cancle, an excuse that their partner had called some else and did not tell them 😕

My thoughts were that the rep had made up names and addresses to improve the stats figure.

Re: Servis UK (Antonio Merloni) Bust!?

I am not supprised that they have gone bust, with the enginners they had working for them.

The only tools the engineers must have had were crystal balls and thier physic ability to diagnose, as they never even pulled the appliance out to check anything.

The last 4 jobs i have had from JTM have had engineers out 3-4 times each time saying they need parts and went away never to return.

Out of those 2 did not need any parts and 2 were pump faults which should be van stock.

Or maybe there cyrstal ball told them that servis was going bust and they could not be bothered to do any repairs.

    Re: JTM CONTRACTS AGAIN

I dont call on any PABL / Lofra calls for jtm.
I get all the information from c/x as to problem and order parts likely to need first.

I have been caught out so many times going out diagnosing problem then waiting up to six months for parts to arrive. If they ever do, in most cases they get BER.

I had a c/x with a brand new m/w had it a month went wrong had waited 4-5 months b4 arriving i cant understand why c/xs put up with it.

The problem i found with the m/w parts was they have 2 -3 different pcbs, when they arrived at jtm they were all labeled the same part number and put in the same bins so it was a lucky dip.

The last few times i have not been out PABL i have had a call from jtm saying they wont pay me if i dont go out first. So i ask them have they got spares they usually say no, so thats my answer to them.

I have sent many emails to pabl & jtm saying get yours spares sorted. I get no reply what a suprise :rolls:

So dont waste your valuble time on check if they have parts b4 calling.

    Re: LI62UK D/W PULSING

Have you checked the start capacitor first?

I had an indesit, with a similar problem it turned out to be a circulation motor.
This was after going out to with a reported fault no heat.

I found the drain hose had a pin hole leak which flooded base, the tubular element was blown to pieces, so did not suspect the motor.

It would start to pulse half way through program, by doing so was heating up like a coffee perculator, which was why the element blew in the first place.

    Just an idea!!
