Has this got the hoover white style selector, if so contacts inside can cause problems, if your careful you can strip them down and remove the small circuit and clean it with a rubber.
I assume all the heater, thermistor etc checks out?

unless the board is blown usually just this selector HVR91201337

    Hope this helps

Yes sounds like it, for some reason there is a rumble coming from that area, maybe the seal was not seated correctly on assembly?

But as its rumbling it causing a spin problem, because of the imbalance, really odd.

Will soon see once its apart.

This one particular c/x has had a few hick ups with this one, on the odd occasion the water does not drain out from the fabric compartment, also her own fault month ago key fob stuck in the ball valve, whether this was a contributing facture your guess is as good as mine.
There was a slight noise then but did not connect it until my engineer went back this time!

PS I seem to be having a few valves failing on me latlely only on the 2s, they must be the same on the 5s?
Just had a call from a c/x one delivered yesterday woke up to water in the drum.!!!

    Re: Caple Built under fridge

I did a PNE with connect, came back dont do spares for this model.

Got a phone number for Caple spares called them and gave same information as the pne. Yes thermostat in stock, so sent for it.

Unknowingly the part arrived from Connect same invoice but under the name PARTMASTER !!!

Robbing gitts sold me a part for £20 that would have cost me £4 trade.

Luckily the parts totally wrong sent a thermal cut out for an oven, so they are getting back.

Whats annoying is that they could not identify who we were, surley if you give your company details their system would flag up if your trade anyway.

Have we got a list of all the names connect currently go under?

The fact is i am still looking for the fridge stat dont always like using pattern alternatives as the tempertures are bit out!!

    Re: ISE 2 problems…..

Just a thought, is the c/x switching the appliance off at the (0) position after the wash cycle before reselecting a new program, as the control knob can be turned either way it may be registering the original cotton wash cycle?
Get her to reset it first then start the quick wash again.

Also as these machines have a faster agitation, it maybe she is using too much detergent and the machine compensating for over foaming?

Check the inlet valves I have had one recently it fills on the initial pre wash ok, then hums on the main fill and just trickels in very slowly.

Both carbon brushes are making contact and are not worn much.

Airflow fine does has not even trip off cut out stat.

Seems strange that it heats on the shortist reverse then when switches to the main long tumble the heat relay clicks off.

The heater relay has some burn marks on the cover?

c/x after did say it has been taking slightly longer to dry.

What are the resistance readings on the sensors?

Appears to be a pcb fault? wanted to confirm b4 committing.

Customer brings a Beko washer into the workshop for us to check it.

He has already purchased a door lock and fitted it which did not cure the problem.

So asked if we would check the fault, which we have done.

Its a pcb fault gave him a quote, he now wants the part number so he can buy it on the internet and do the job himself.

I told him that i am not giving that info out. if he wants it he can search for it
He said if thats the way you do business then i wont use you 😯
well as far as i can see he has just used me.

If he wants his appliance back he can now pay for my time.

what are we a charity shop ❗
