    Re: Is WashVac’s site down?

    Hi all
Im still useing old site. 😆
but the new one (parts cntr) seems to find your part number or your wash vac number if you put it in the keyword search box while searching in the spares section.
Not done a order yet as still trying to find the price I would pay for it.
seems to show net price rather than trade price 😥
I emailed accounts last week and got a new acount number ( you only use the first 7 digits of this ) then I registerd this account number with a new password.

    Thanks guys
    Thats half price 😯
Criss have you tryed making up a order with that part on it and then just doing a price ckeck because this comes up with a different price than the price check for a part on its own on the part page.
    i.e.
When I do a live info check it cost me £24. When I do a current order PRICE AND AVAILABILITY check it cost me £21. 😆
The £21 is what I pay on that order

    Hi Pat
    Whot no seme account.
They dont stock evrything but postage is free for over £ 12 spend and they are very competitive.
Use them all the time because it takes ages for me to get a £65 order.

Re: Part P Or Not To Part P

    Hi all
Part p is only for electrical installation work, ie wires and fittings.
We can change fittings even in a kitchin and bathroom as long as it is a strait swap ie if they are damaged or faulty.
Part p stops at the cooker pannel or bull nose if there is one, or the socket outlet. They dont care what we do after that.
Please dont be fobbed of by anything that the nic say they are noboddys who like to think they run the show.
the iee is the regulations however but this is still not about part p.
The iee have rules which we should follow ie BS 7671, But I must say this is not a legal reqirement either.
Part p is something totaly seperate just for people who install wiring, ie new cooker circuit or shower circuit. You can add a new light or socket to an installation but not in a kitchin or bathroom. The only thing that most you may do is change a faulty cooker pannel or socket out-let, this is allowed by part p even in a kitchin, any one can do it.
only belive what you read directly from the odp site the rest are just scareing you to joining them.

ps I have c/g 2381 and 2391 very recently from my local collage but I still haven’t botherd with part p.
    2381 cost £80.00
    2391 cost 120.00
Including the exam. ( Dunstable collage beds )
nic would have been well over a grand ( I wonder why they are so keen )

Re: newest model Neff and Bosch dishwashers-beware

    Hi all
I tested an plaset useing a 500v megga instead of my ohm tester
(because it was shot) that made it 0 ohms which blew a old hpt spin board 😳 but they were a bit cheaper than that.
? is there a suppreser of some kind in them ?

    Hi all
Should I laugh or cry ❓
Checked all the usual things to no avail, so thought I go for it and try the test sequence not even knowing what any of it ment.
Went through no problems fill pump dispensor wash pump lots of c8,s and c6,s ete all ok ❓
When started up all was ok now, pump fill wash dispensor heater ete ❓
God knows what did it but it now seems ok.
Do you think the test sequence reset the modual or just freed something up, I never did find out what the problem was. 😕
