    Re: Indesit Smart Card

There is a Tech Buliten out about AL09 errors I cant remember the serial numbers that it relates to but the way around the problem is this.

Ensure the dishwasher is switched off.

Remove the 4 wires that go to the display card, orange in colour.

Switch the dishwasher on for 20 Seconds.

    Turn off again.

    Remove the eprom.

Reconect the 4 wires going to the display card.

Put the thing back together again and Bobs your aunty.

    Error Codes

    f01 light 4, motor triac
    f02 light 3 motor, jammed/ tacho
    f03 lights 3&4 Ntc fault
f04 light 2. pressure sw stuck on empty
f05 lights 2&4, pressure sw stuck on full
    f06 lights 2&3, N/A?
    f07 lights 2&3&4 heater relay
    f08 light 1. heater relay
    f09 lights 1&4 eprom/setup error
f10 lights 1&3, pressure switch not sensing
    f11 lights 1&3&4, pump/draining error
    f12 lights 1&2, communication error
    f13 lights 1&2&4, dryer ntc/ fan motor
    f14 lights 1&2&3, dryer heater
f15 lights 1&2&3&4, dryer heater relay
    f16 N/A
    f17 light 4, door lock
f18 light 3 comms error (3 phase motor) power board

So in this instance with the second light flashing the error code would be f04 light 2. pressure sw stuck on empty.

Not quite true but I wont go into it on a public forum.

Re: Indesit-Hotpoint/D&G how do I get them to work

    Hi

The way it works between Indesit and D&G is as follows.

You the customer take a policy out all be it via Indesit or direct with D7G it makes no difference as they are all administrated by D&G.

You get a number to call for service which is Indesits number.

Indesit arrange for an Engineer to attend. If the appliance is repairable and the parts are available ie. Not obsolete the repair goes ahead even if there is a delay in getting parts.

If the parts are obsolete the engineer calls into the E A Team ( Exchange Authorisation Team) to write the appliance off. Before it is written off the EA Team will try and source the part from elsewhere ( Recycling, Third party suppliers etc.)

If that is not possible the appliance is written off by the EA Team. This is done by completing certain fields on Indesits call management system. The next working day ( In your case Monday) the report from the previous working day is electronicaly sent to the D&G claims dept ( Which is a different dept to the one that you call) They then imput it onto there own systems so that by the Thursday it should be showing to all on D&G’s systems.

D&G then decide on what appliance you are going to get as a replacement and they write and let you know what they are going to be doing. All this can take up to 14 working days providing your replacement is in stock.

Sorry this is a bit long winded but there is no easy way to explain it.

Did you do a burn off before first use ie. putting the oven on full to burn the coating off. All new ovens are coated and require a “burn off” this will give off a lot of smoke with an acrid smell to the smoke so windows open and no pets in the room.

Hi the machine is designed to do a “thermal spin” after about 20 mins. I believe that if you look in the handbook it does mention this.

Partfinder is no longer updated reguly as Service Net is the way forward for Indesit. Updates used to be done by the UK team this has now been taken over by Italy. First read of some of the translations of the service manuals can be how shall we say amusing!!
