    Re: servis

That model number is a serial number Fase. (S/no. means serial number)

The model you’ve got is a M6011. I would say you are looking at pressure switch or module giving you that fault.

    Re: Scrap & Weee

I have a waste carriers licence. I used to let ‘steve the scrap man’ come and collect them, but since WEEE I have been doing it myself.

Luckily I have a Metal Merchants five miles from where I live.

Maybe i’m a bit of a miser but its quite satisfying getting money for the old machines.

I generally get the Merchant to keep a tally of the weight I scrap and get the money and receipt monthly.

Tim obviously lives in a more afluent are than us.

Up until December I was getting £75 per 1000 kg. Now its shot up to £95 per 1000kg virtually overnight.

Its makes the risk of getting scraps of metal stuck in your tyres a bit more worthwhile! 😀

Change the pump as well while your at it just in case the old pump faulted the pump triac.

Check that the breather tube from pump to dispenser isn’t chaffed as well.

    Re: Scrap & Weee

I would be surprised that they strip the machines down. Too much hard work for not much reward.

As long as they have a waste carriers licence they can take the scrap to a yard like anyone else.

My Metal merchants are paying £95 per 1000kg.

Which roughly gets you £5 to £7 per machine.

    Re: hoover hnwl 6136

On the HNWL6136 have you checked the small switch behind the start button? Door lock and door hook/handle are weak points on this model. Which could give you a no start fault.

Recently I’ve been needing a few boards for various Hoover machines and have started ordering direct from Hoovers spares Dpt. Prices are still generally cheaper than Connect. My other wholesalers don’t have the boards in stock.

    Re: Bosch/Gorenje tumble driers

I did my first belt change on one of these two weeks ago.
Front panel off to do the job.

    Lid off.
Bezel off. (make a note off timer and switch connections)
Undo all the screws you can see on the front. lift panel off.
Unclip front ducting enough to allow belt to be fed through.

Not to bad a job. Not too different to the newer hoover dryers. (bit less involved)

Re: Interesting Hoover AS 120 spin fault

Perhaps when you pulled the machine out you unknowingly disturbed the drain hose which was partially blocked????

The only strange no spin faults I’ve had on these is the heater having low insulation.

    Re: New ISE5?

Will it still be a 1500 spin with a 6kg load?

On a purely selfish note a ‘time left’ display and a 30 minute quick wash would definitely help me to sell it. There not being a quickwash is one of the main negatives. (for my customers)

Oh…..and another small point will it be retailing at £399 rather than £449?

Tell me to shut up if I’m getting above my station. 😉

    Re: A Quandry ?

A syphoning problem wouldn’t occur within 45 seconds of it starting to fill at the beginning of a cycle.

Sounds to me like the customer got cold feet and needed a way out for some reason. Other than that a fluke chance the machine righted itself.

    You may never know.

I would imagine you will have to give back the ISE money. 😥

Wiring and or main module faulty. have you checked the wiring to the board? Its quite common for it to all melt and cause strange faults.

do you mean air chamber for pressure switch system?

    Yes.

Never have got out the habit of calling it a reservoir. As in Hoover pressure reservoir. Took me ages to stop saying tub shell gaskets.

    😆

    Did you check it anyway?
