    Thanks, MArtin.

I was looking at earlier posts to how to get to the door switch but the link went nowhere. Is it fascia & front off on these machines?

    Personally I use;

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_195717_langId_-1_categoryId_255223

other products are available from other stores. (I have no affiliation with Halfords!!) 🙂

WD40 being an oil will naturally attract dirt and dust over time.

I match two of the above. I will let you decide which two.

    Re: Free call outs

I think this is where confusion sets in with terminology. What is your definition of free call outs? The fact that you fix the machine even if it is user error dosen’t mean you do it for free. Does it?

British Gas were at the UK Whitegoods Conference. They were wanting people to show interest in being a sub-contractor for them. I since have spoken to Gordon from British Gas who says that it is their intention to sub out work but not sure when.

Is that not more to do with new machines rather than spares?

    Re: Is it just me?

It is tricky to get in the mind set to discuss charges even though the customer dosen’t ask. But the stress it relieves in knowing there can be no arguments when you’ve gone out of your way to get to them is well worth it.
On the other hand it can work the other way, when you don’t get the call, you then wonder if everyone else is being as up front as you are. I had four people yesterday who didn’t book a call with me after I explained charges. This is high though most people are fine with what I quote.

Isn’t this an integrated model? WFLI 2440?

If it is its not the same as the WFL WFO range.

    Re: Ise dishwasher

At the moment they have a Hoover dishwasher, which they have used 3 times a day for 4 years with no trouble up until last week. 😯

It has a 59 minute 70oC cycle. Which is ideal for them.

Apparently, the cook & bottle washer says they aren’t allowed to wash below 70oC. Elf & safety. ❓

Is this a Janus type machine. (On the machines sticker you will see a code like 01 12 11 02 04 11.)
If it is then R1 resisitor on the board goes open circuit. Just link wire it out.
If its not a Janus type then the main board is the culprit.
