    Re: Free Estimate.

I dont do free estimates and rarely give them over the phone.
At £15 to £25 I would like to think this is a reasonable charge for an honest assesment of whether the machine is worth repairing. If the machine is not repairable I advise on a suitable replacement. There may also be improvements required to the household plumbing before a new machine arrives which you would point out to the customer.
I also give them advice on the use of detergents as so many customers are using the wrong products.
A free estimate without any of the above advice could prove expensive in the long term 😉

    Hi Bob
No not done one before, how do you access the dryer filter?
Looking from the top with the heater duct off it just looked like the condenser unit was part of the drum and impossible to clean out.

A travel database is not something I would be keen on but if a Dirty Bomb does go off in London as the Government say is likely then I think most people would have a different view on this one.

Had a couple of these element that were down to earth a couple of years ago so I ran them with no earth connected in my work shop for 5 mins and they were fine after that.

With these Bosch brushes now becoming so expensive is it not time that a pattern part manufacturer got their act together and produced a good quality alternative to these over priced genuine brushes.
The pattern ones that I have seen are physically a poor fit making it impossible to remove one as part of a service check.
Also are there good and bad grades of carbon.

Connect showing £21.71 to me. These Brushes are an outrageous price.
Bosch must be making a fortune. Not seen a pattern brush yet that I would feel confident fitting. Was getting these brushes for £11.99 last summer if I brought 30 sets at a time but now the price has virtually doubled 😥
