    Re: HTPT WD61 Dryer Element

Sounds like a bad batch of elements to me. Now made in China no doubt. 🙁
Maybe someone on here has got an old one in stock that you could buy?

    Thanks for your reply gandh1.
Yes it works ok on timed drying. Does anyone have an instruction or technical manual for download that would highlight the need to put a full damp load in the dryer so I can show the customer.
    Thanks Graham!

Not a big fan of the new site I have to say. Hoping I will get the hang of it soon 😥

Turn the bearing block 180 degrees. A little play is not a problem or you could buy a new bearing block if it bothers you.
A new drum is not worth the money IMO.

Re: Zanussi washing machine bung – Urgent!

Better to scrap the machine than lash it up which may cause a flood and damage your reputation.
If there is no official blanking bung listed by Zanussi then it is not worth the risk.

Any chance of running them on the bench to dry them out. Did this with some Crosslee T/D elements with no problems.

Re: BOSCH WAE24363GB Washing Machine – Any way to extend pip

Avoid running off electric extension leads, not good practice.
Get an electrician to fit a proper 13amp wall socket within easy reach of the machine. Also make sure the socket is accessible without moving the machine.
