ParticipantRe: LG WD12336AD Drum Paddle
Looks like your suggestion is the answer bazza as I was the engineer that went there and it had me baffled and like you say the paddles must have been fitted before the drum was formed.
What planet are these design engineers on!!!!Turbo
ParticipantRe: Servis Quartz Plus tripping household RCD
Could be many things including the motor. This machine must be 30 years old and 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the parts are obsolete. Time for a new one really. 🙁

Never did solve the problem on that one Mike as she brought a new machine. Can only assume it was a module problem. How did you get on?

ParticipantRe: SRS 43E02 GB/18 Module Install Info
Sorry Bob I should have explained that she had the upgrade over 6 months ago and since then the quick wash shows 85 mins. The installer insisted that was ok. I have suggested she calls them back but she seems reluctant.

Element and main board are a possibilty. Unlikely to get any change out of £250. Worth getting someone to check it out.

When using Affresh or biological powder to clean your machine I would recommend filling the machine up on the rinse cycle first as the water level is a lot higher. Once it stops filling turn timer dial to stop position for a few seconds then set to 90 degrees and push start button. This will ensure water splashes up to the top of the drum. This method is not possible on some bosch models I have found.
As others have pointed out though it does look like a new machine 🙁Graham
