What kind of board is it affecting? What’s the part number of the board so I can cross reference against all Bosch dishwasher appliances? It seems that it is not just model specific as it looks like across the board, unless I am mistaken, please correct me.

Alanj wrote:Hi Twicknix, how do you facter in your payment for your terminal?
If you have the payzone one thats £26.39 a month for a start and then your card charges on top. If you don’t take a lot of payments then maybe it’s better to work with only card charges.
Some readers are even being offered free of charge!Alan
I still do not have a card payment facility, iZettle seems to offer a good price at the moment especially if you are a Costco member, they offer a period of free card processing and once that expires it becomes 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Santander offer a special price for it, pay £99 and use it then you get £50 cashback.
I have not found any that offers less than 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. There is a website that allow you to produce QR scan to enable your customer to make payment via their smart phone or yours. The operating costs looks lower by the looks of it but if you dig deeper, there is this merchant costs via paypal which is considerably more expensive than iZettle.
I had wrestled on what to do with the charges, the small prints on iZettle stipulates that you cannot slap those charges onto the customer or put them at a disadvantage over cheque or cash transactions. I can’t work out how to include the charges without the customer realising it.
My call out fee is £45, so if I get customer to pay by card, then the charges would be £1.24 and that eats away the profit, like I mentioned on previous thread, if you multiply it by one card payment a day a month 30 days, then that is £37.20. It is quite a lot.
I came to the conclusion that it is cheaper to use cheque, cash and bank transfer. The only thing I lose out if someone wants to pay by credit card for the purchase of new appliance, usually they find a way around it.
Hope that answers your query? I know I am not overly helpful, just that card payment is not for me for the time being due to costs.
I am happy to hear on how others do it.

Done it, good strong earth path on the base to capacitor, all the way back to the earth pin on the plug. I found a nut in the tool box and a shakeproof washer so I used it to secure the capacitor.
Very happy, now it is working fine.

The tumble dryer base is earthed so the metal cased capacitor should be ok then?

If your struggling their is a second method, first the new belt will be very tight try and stretch it by standing in it and give it a good pull, will make your life a bit easier, remove the side and remove the front fan and cover, replace the jockey wheel and fully fit it to the motor, best way to swap the belt is down the back of the drum but I always take it out TBH to have a good clean and check the front bearings, remove the heater cover and heater, remove the rear fan, once the fan is off their are 4 bolts the hold the motor in just in the duct, remove these and now you can rotate the motor, place the belt over the motor shaft and rotate the motor and jockey wheel back , you will find you can just slip the belt over now, with a screwdriver in the motor between where the front and rear housings meet rotate it forward until the 4 rear bolt holes align and refit and it came apartThanks Madangler – your advice is spot on and it helped me greatly and not only it helped me so much but it was so straightforward and easy. I found that if you take out the front fan cover and the disc, unclip the front fan and as well the rear fan, you have a lot of space to move about, especially when it comes to slipping the new belt onto the shaft.

So it’s open the back panel with rear teardrop unpinned then slide the belt over the drum? Ok got that.
What about the motor shaft? It’s on plastic base. Where do I slip the belt? Can I unbolt the motor and where do I do that? Do I need to remove the rear fan blade? Can the belt slip from the rear or front and would the motor wires get in the way? Just trying to remember how I did it on the vented variants.

ParticipantHpt t/d – AQCF852BI – Belt fitting and jockey wheel
Turned out that it is not my day today!
Original problem was worn jockey wheel, attempted to replace it, the new part got damaged in the van (long story – something fell onto the bag and broke the jockey wheel) so I had to get another one.
Fitted the second replacement part onto the dryer and had troubles with swivelling the belt onto the jockey wheel and ended up breaking the jockey wheel and torn the belt.
Now I am faced with replacing the belt and jockey wheel (third set) which I have now ordered it for collection tomorrow morning. Am I looking at complete strip down of the dryer to replace the belt or is there an easier way?
A step by step guide would be good as I have not attempted to replace belt on condensing dryer before.
These things are sent to try me!

The question is, how do I put the belt onto the jockey wheel? It looked like that I do not have the luxury to take advantage of the spring loaded jockey wheels like I do with other machines and this machine seems very rigid.
Am I looking at brute force to pull the belt onto the jockey wheel? Would my hotpoint tumble dryer belt fitting tool fit? Just that I use it on the older models but not on newer models.
Looking at this particular model, it looks very similar to what they have been making for the last twenty years but I have not been able to find out where the belt fitting tool can slot into. There got to be a way or is there a knack to it?

Turned out it not as easy as you make it out. The belt need replacing as I knackered it also the jockey wheel seems to break easily. Will get on to second wheel. Is the belt the same as IS60v?

It is the condenser model. Yes you need to unscrew the pulley.

Some whirlpool oven have stepped back. I had that situation in the past, it’s a case of finding one that has clearance. Whirlpool manufactured oven seems to be the remaining few manufacturers that sells oven with stepped back.
