ParticipantRe: Beko WMI71641 Contro PCB part number
Cheers Dave,
I’m assuming this was manufactured 09-2012 therefore according to the info it uses the old board.
Unfortunately this doesn’t give full part numbers for the PCB’s; I have part numbers for 2 old version PCB’s so are either correct?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher Heat Pump failed prematurely
I don’t understand why it would make a difference with the drying unless the NTC is built into the heat pump and sends back a different resistance preventing the water from getting hot enough to dry.

Interesting, were both part numbers listed for the model you were working on?
Any idea what the difference is between the two pumps?

As for my recall, checked out heating fine as far as I can tell and have upped the rinse aid setting and see what happens.I’m interested to know if increasing the rinse aid solves the drying problem.
I have a friend with a Bosch machine that isn’t drying but it does heat.
The problem appears to coincide with changing the rinse aid to Lidl’s so I have told him to go back to Finish and see if the drying improves.Twoten
ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher Heat Pump failed prematurely
I called BSH to try a clarify this. Customer services couldn’t give me an answer so referred it to technical.
According to technical the Care product is the Dishwasher cleaner 00311565.Twoten

alster wrote:Could it be the plastic trim/baffle that clips into the sump that I mentioned in the other thread running about heat pumps?
I don’t think it can be.
The description isBSH wrote:Heat pump complete, without care product; For countries where the care product is not allowed to be imported or sold
If it was the baffle, why would they not be allowed to import it.
Googling Bosch care product suggests it’s a cleaner which would make a bit more sense with regards to some countries not permitting the import but if this is the case then the one that logically should have the care product, doesn’t.eastlmark wrote:
I have yet to see the item you have mentioned in any of the boxes I have opened lately. The Heat Pump fitted as a replacement on this job included the plastic baffle that clips in front of the pump inlet port inside the sump. When comparing with the original baffle the front lower edge is slightly lower so it reduces the gap by about 1 to 2mm. I would have though this would reduce the water flow and increase the possibility of failure but I guess we have to assume Bosch know what they are doing 😕

Interesting! Not seen inside one of these before.
If the user fails to keeps the filter clean, would the resticted flow cause this to fail?

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint AQGMD149UK not taking fabric conditioner
Just to update and close this thread.
I returned with the replacement hopper which still didn’t solve the problem.
The water pressure was good so the only thing left was the valve.
Replaced the valve and problem solved.
I can only assume one of the valve ports was releasing the water at a different rate which may have caused the converging jets to flow forward at a different angle and miss the fabric conditioner opening in the hopper.Twoten

Thanks Johnyj,
I couldn’t see it being anything else but wondered if anyone else has come across a faulty dispenser hopper. I can only assume there’s a bit of debris inside the moulding, I pushed a cable tie through but it didn’t make any difference.Twoten

eastlmark wrote:agree those strips can be a pain once they start catching, not that I have had one affect the door lock mind, but quote for a new plinth or give the customer the option of removing it is the best plan of action. (and you can guess what they will go for)
It doesn’t affect the door catch, just catches at the bottom.
I don’t think a new plinth will solve the problem. I have removed the strip for he customer but wanted to find out if there was another solution?Twoten

no other reason I can think of
DaveThanks Dave,
If I tilted the machine back so there’s no weight on the front feet it doesn’t happen as the plinth comes down a bit. I raised the machine on it’s feet in case the plinth was pushed up by the floor and the fault returned.
I’ve not come across broken hinge bearings before on these. The machine is not quite 3 years old with only moderate use also free standing so not taking the weight of a door panel so hadn’t considered this but will go back and take another look.

electrofix wrote:trying to get my head around what u mean
do you mean the very bottom door catches the case
if yes have you checked hinge bearings ? 165296
DaveNo, when the machine was supplied there was a plastic strip that clips into the top of the plastic plinth under the lower edge of the outer door panel. I believe this is to reduce the noise levels. The gap between the door panel and plastic plinth has reduced causing the panel to catch on the clip in plastic strip.
