Sound good to me…. as Steve said…. knowledge is power! If he can help the association, and is prepared to come on board…. Bring him on!

BlockedRe: Got A Website?
Speaking of links and websites n stuff, for those that dont know, the WTA website has a links page! If you guys (and gals) with websites want to register on the site (http://www.whitegoodstradeassociation.org), you can get a link put on the website for your Business…… It is definately worth getting one up there…..

No probs! Silly season doesn’t quite describe this month a!! 😆 Should be re-named ‘bonkers season’!

Is there any chance a list can be complied then to be posted in this thread? Have we had any new member applications since we formed?

BlockedRe: WTA Website
I’ve just been checking out the WTA website again, and I looked at the links option. There is only 4 members links there at the moment, so, I were wondering…. Does anyone have any objections to me starting a thread in the members forum inviting people to 1; register on the site if they arn’t already, and 2; once registered, submit their web details if they have any?

BlockedRe: WTA Membership charges
As we need to get this sorted sooner rather than later, my official input is £295+ VAT. Can we have a yey or ney from everyone so Ken can advise espares?

I said earlier £200 was a stab in the dark, but after reading Lawrence’s post and Seans post… to me personally, £200 is too cheap! Lawrence has pointed out the main positives of being an associate member, and after reading that, I reckon that £250+ VAT is a more a fair price to pay as an associate. After all, as prevoiusly said, they have alot more money than us, and as per Lawrences post alone, they have alot already for £250 IMO!

Lawrence wrote:Access to a constantly growing membership
“Official” adoption of the COP (which once ratifified will be worth it’s weight in Gold )
Use of WTA logos
the ability to mail to all WTA members
The Kudos of affiliation to the only WTA that has a membership card scheme in placeAll very good points Lawrence, perhaps £200 is too little? Sean had a very good point too with espares ripping the COP!

My input would only be a stab in the dark really! I’d say around the £200 mark to get the ball rolling……
