If both are flashing it will be water protection!!!
I find its normally when customer empties filter some of it runs inside machine and causes the float to activate

Might be worth a try? Try turning down the water pressure slighty to the machine on neva valve see if that helps?, seems to be alot of pressure? Has your mains water been altered. Not sure from one of your pics if something plastic is stuck in the inlet on the sump? where the concertina hose goes?

Im sure this product will show an error CODE!! If there are any problems with the temp sensors etc?
I aggree with alf_uckem about the door not closing this is a comman problem with built in appliances
If its soft snowy ice? most likely to be air getting inRe: whirlpool american style tumble dryer

How many times we get called out on a dead machine to find wrong fuse fitted? :rolls: or on an extention lead only ment for 5amp even coiled up getting red hot 😯Re: Miele W304.
I get quite a few where if you just pop door open and reclose it works?
I think its when the customer did’nt fully close the door to engage interlock 😉
to get plastic fascia off use a thin screw driver or knife at the top edge push downwards and it pop out!! its held along the bottom channel by 3 spring clips Be carefull not to crack in half :rolls:

I looked into this not sure if this might be a problem? Depending on serial number ie: upto 40/ and from 41/ etc, the module and brush holder tacho assembly are different they need to match not sure if you got em via Miele and gave serial numbers? This machine is only 2yrs old is it still under a warranty?
