    How are you checking ? Are you using a multimeter or one of those electrical screw drivers. The only way is to use a multimeter to check the wiring.With power off.

    After six years the brushes will need changing, worn brushes give off an arcing sound. Do not use machine until you have checked brushes,arcing brushes can blow main boards.

    iadom has already answered you query.
    Check all the parts of the dryer.
    The machine is made by Indesit as iadom says so the electronics can show up weird codes unrelated to the actual fault.

    Have you checked that the clock is set to manual and not auto,it has to be set to manual to work.

    F 07 =Drum sensor failure
    Potential causes
    Drum sensor defective
    Magnet not in correct position or missing
    Electrical connection between reed switch and control board
    Drum doesn’t turn

    Carry out reset . To carry out reset ,must be performed in 10 sec
    a)turn selector to 6 oclock pos
    b)Push start button 3 times
    C)turn selector clockwise one position (airing prog)
    D push start button 3 times

    You will need to check the connection and wiring from that part of the board ,back to the component it is connected to.

    The water condenses the steam and has to flow all the time . If you stopped the water flow it would not dry.
    You need to clean the condenser and make sure the drainage system is clear.
