    Re: Rangemaster 110DFNG

Assuming that it controls grill element being a DF

    Brown wire P1
    Red Wire (from Grill) 2
    Purple Wire (from indicator) 2A
    Red wire (from indicator) S2
    Blue Wire (Neutral) 4
    Blue Wire (Neutral) P2

    Link Wires required
    P1 to S1
    4 to P2

    Hope this helps

    Any advice much apreciated.

To test for Gas in system, place lighter on pipework to condensor if the pipework is still hot when you take heat away there is a lack of gas , The gas should absorb the heat, ps take care not to burn yourself , however this could be open to debate.

    just a thought

Re: Bottom Seal on BRANDT D/W

I have had this problem before (hotpoint variant) changed goal post seal -which says on mod notes in box it will cure this common problem) :rotfl: changed bottom seal upper/lower spray arms never been able to repair 4 out of 7 models visited, but spoke to local hotpoint engineer who said turn the pressure switch down by 1/4 turn will try this next time.

If you scroll up to “usergroups” and then across from non-member groups, choose “Trade Members” then click “View Information”. That will show you the trade members.

When giving info in the public forum it is paramount. Safety first, repair second.
Also, are you a trade member Tekno? If so that is fine.If you are a member of the public it isn’t really allowed to give information/advice in any of the public forums, If you feel you have something you want to share please run it by site admin or any moderator first.

    Thanks for your understanding
    Greg

you say ‘If you need to find out please ask as we can easily check for you’

Who ‘If you need to find out please ask as we can easily check for you’

    no offence meant

    Thanks for all your help

I agree never touch a servis with a part with a bargepole, a parts centre inside a castle with a moat around it situated in the south of france as a holiday home with several cars in the uk etc.

Re: Old Servis made washing machine valves

    Hotpoint 95/wm series will fit,

Cut length of cold fill pipe to fit to end of spigot (very tight fit) use debor then fit hose from dispensor over mod use jubillee clip and tighten.

    Never had one fail yet.

    Hope this helps

Re: Manufacter alloy tub pulley sunken Screw

I think that even this brand including indesit & Servis group should also carry a public weath warning saying :-

“Dont purchase this brand as we are trying to make it increasingly difficult/expensive for our machines to be repaired as we dont care about the environment or your finances only our operating profits/margins thats unless you want to take a five year waranty with our insurance allies to make exceedingly good profit to pay our directors/managers, and wish to make your local engineer forced in to working with us or buying a franchise thus holding him by the Nuts, either way we win!”

“We will therefore control every whitegoods repairer in the land and will manage his finances for him and give him some pocket money for him thats only if he begs and does what we tell them to do”.

    Thanks wilf
but I should of said it was a 6mm key in a socket, the alloy just breaks up and round the the hex hole up, do they use a metalic super glue /loctite to stop the screw from comming out.
