Re: Hoover fridge freezer HCA300FK – PCB

There are 2 part nos 91201739 or 41007946 but I would tend to think that the thermistor buried in the insulation is at fault, can be tested using built in test diagnostic facility.

    Hope this helps

Unscrewed the pump part (which is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be) – then found there was some fatty deposits which were obviously stopping the “spinney thing” from spinning.
Cleaned it up and re-assembled and the damn thing worked like a charm 🙂
Would have felt so ripped off if I knew that is all it was and had to fork out.
Many thanks to the people on this forum for giving me the confidence to get stuck in 🙂

(I was getting very worried I would have to start washing dishes again by hand!!!!!) *Shudder*

one of the main things of this type of problem is that it is beleived dishwashers are food disposal unit, best advise to anyone is to scrape the food off in the bin, then rinse the crocs before placing in dishwasher.

Rangemaster also only do complete unit aswell, looks like they all only do complete units and not individual parts.

    Hi Phildom

Yes they are right, but how many people who drive are aware of this, I wasn’t five years ago driving a transit van at 61 on an A road, 3 point and fine tried to say I wasnt aware there reply not interested.

found this link to clarify situation
    http://www.smartdriving.co.uk/Driving/DefensiveDriving/Speed/UK_Speed_limits.html

I think that the police are short of cash , and probably not caught anyone driving a comercial veichle whilst smoking as they had hoped for, that unless everyone has had there windows tinted. :rotfl:

If you have not please check the fan has not fallen off, there are two types used black or white , The black one used to fall off and is fitted with a captive nut over brass fitting on fan (11mm socket required).

    Hope this helps
