I attend to appliances in several places like those described. I once asked a staff member if they had ever considered a commercial machine the reply was interesting and when you think about it obvious.
“this is the residents home we want it to feel as like a normal home as possible a normal house, all be it a large one, in a normal street. if residents move on to other houses they will be familliar with and confident with ordinary domestic situations. some of the older residents had grown up in institutions but those days are over.”
the thinking is sound even if the appliances dont last as long.

point taken but sometimes the topic has been covered without reference to any key words. how many times do you see posts without any model or pnc numbers? you end up trawling through lots of stuff with failing hope of a result.

pump impellar is just a bit of rubber so you can hear the thing running but you have to look to see that its not physically broken. I was caught out on this just last week

ps I now keep the update pump kit only in stock and use only the pump if required the buying in price is the same pump only or kit

wouldnt touch pay pal with the proverbial. I know of several people who have had prodlems and been left out of pocket. it was their ” we cant be wrong” attitude that caused as much distress as the loss of money

only lefthand threads I can think of used in this trade are fan oven fan nuts and indesit L5 pump impellars (yes I am that old! 😥 )
get yourself an impact driver and give it a few good whacks.wilf

I’ve had this, its a cut out. a microtemp clamped to the back of the grill cavity conversion kit ( stat) bek210110544 did the job
check the model number against this part just to make sure it is the right part

we shut our shop 4 years ago but in the years before we looked at euronics a couple of times but it all came to nought it would have been easier joining MI5 when they eventually spoke to us they would only give vague figures and prices would be based on turnover
things might be different today but we knocked the idea on the head as we wouldnt shell out joining fee without knowing what we might gain
it seemed then like a closed shophope you might find things more helpfull today
