Re: Can I buy the sleeve for a thermostat phial (tube)?

I’ve recently bought 2 replacement thermostats. One came with a sleeve already on the capillary, the other did not. My local electrical supplier sold me a sleeve (cut off and sold by the metre!).

He assured me that if I pulled it onto the capillary I could use a hairdrier to shrink it tight onto the tube.

He was wrong, but even if just loosely pulled on it may serve your purpose.

    Hi

Looking at the unit it looks like the LG build Rangemaster so it’ll need a engineer visit.

We have the GIAS men readers that program the boards and read the faults and also have the access and programming for the new NFC boards. We also have the Smeg software and programmer.

    Hi

Without seeing the item I can get that t is the cut in / cut out temperatures but also bear in mind that if you going for a non genuine or alternative part that it should also be rated for the amperage.

    Hi

You will need to have an engineer to check that the elements have not become damp which happens when not used for a long period.
Also how did you replace the element ?

    Re: Integrated installation

The units are already installed (I doubt that effects your advice). I take it that it is trickier than simply unscrewing the door, sliding out the old unit, sliding in the new unit and screwing the door back on?

Same for the hinge reversal – I’d assumed it would, in essence, be a matter of simply switching the hinges over.

Nope not that easy.. The hinges on either one may have to be moved, re-cut on the door panel dependent on the fixings. Also the levelling, spacing, ventilation would be JL’s responsibility if not done correctly which could cause you to be charged where it was found to be an installation fault.

    It’s worth paying up.

    Re: ARROW oven instruction manual

I have most of the manuals but would need the model number which will be on the door frame and also on top if you pill the cooker out slightly.

Re: Belling Wine Cooler Freezing and Exploding Wine Bottles

If the ambient tmp drops it causes the appliance NOT to cool in normal circumstances ??

The only way it would freeze is if the thermostat or sensor failed. The ambient temp is there to turn on the thermostat after it has reached temperature.

Or am I being stupid here ? It might be my age.. Probably is.
