    Re: Whirlpool ADG722H Heater clips

    hi,

These are all thin jubilee clips and are whirlpool part numbers..

    4822 401 10258 i think inlet hose dia.

    4819 401 18174 read simons comment

4819 401 18057 possibly the next size up simon

4812 221 22295 will easily do the sump hose on a whirlpool dishwasher.

All of these are a stupid whirlpool inflated price but do fit the restriction shoulders on the ends of the hoses…..

Re: white westinghouse integrated slimline dishwasher

this model if my memory serves me is made by smeg, could be corrected though, they do have a tendency to have the programer stick and not finish the cycle, does water go in ? ,does it pump the water out when first switched on ?,do you hear the main pump washing( louder whooosh) spray arms spin ?,can you hear water going in ?

Re: indeset snafu & white westinghouse guarantee joke

sorry i’m away from the flat with the washerdryer on reflection it may be a wd126 bought 18 months ago. i remember the 1200 spin speed and the stupid preset amounts of time for drying ie 30mins or an hour, that kind of thing, which always resulted in my clothes being either wet, or overdry…

Re: indeset snafu & white westinghouse guarantee joke

sorry forgot to mention that if you have a white westinghouse dishwasher then the extended warranty is next to useless, never has the organisation handling it “appliance express” or the fitters fixing stuff – so called “expert” services been less well named.

i can only think they were named ironically. over several months, two call outs one set of charges, one bungled diagnosis and one bungled repair later i still have no dishwasher.

it is apparent to me that it is far better to throw this item away and face the expense of a new one than get the keystone cops of white goods repair involved again.

    Re: CORGI

Well after spending this week renewing my corgi qualifications (thank god its over) 😕 No to be serious the cost yes was expensive £775 inc vat 2 days training 2 days CCN1 & 1 day cookers & central heating & gas fires but in my mind it was worth while. 😥

I would seriously state that you will need to have the 2 days training as there are several changes that have been brought in. 🙄

As its said ” if you can’t get the rules to work ” change the rules and so they have. 😈

i found it a lot easier doing all the modules at one time as the examiners realise that you have just completed halve the module previously.

    Re: Bosch SGS5302GB/09

Why has Gegsy’s post suggesting part no ‘264877’ disappeared?
    Was it incorrect?

I’ve managed to find the shopping basket page, but wherever I put any of the aforementioned part numbers, they all come up negative. Might they have changed them?

    Carlton slimline dishwasher

I’d Just like to say thanks for the self resetting stat. 😀

I would not recommend bypassing it as I did, since when using tablets there is so much foam it just gets hotter and hotter. There is hardly any water to conduct the heat to the other stats. We will be switching to powder so the new stat isn’t tripping all the time, only two tabs left now 😉 .

    Re: Beko fridge thermostat

    Thanks Dave,
the fridge is a beko type NL 710 ,model 6161363124 serial No illegible
    On the stat is Ranco k59p1681 93 30 2p25
    9002 750400

I phoned a company beko recommend for spares and they can do a stat for £24, inc vat & delivery.

Is this a good price?? Fitting the stat body & wires are easy but the capillary disappears into the side of the fridge . Can the bulb be pulled out? or would it be ok to have the bulb of a new stat inside the fridge.

A new kitchen is planned, so I only need a stopgap

    all the best desperate dan………

Thank you all……I can see two longish brownish button things on top of the machine, I guess I was looking for a red button like a doorbell type thing. I shall now attempt to put things right and am grateful to you all for your input. 🙂

    Re: Candy AQW130(Aquaviva1300) Washer Dryer

Hi there, Thank you for telling me I’m looking for a red button, the lid is off and I can’t see any buttons at all – we are going away tomorrow and I am desperate to get it working as I had washed before I realised it had tripped out. The engineer that has called in the past says they are lousy machines and always trip, that’s all well and good if I can learn to untrip it, but I am buttonless and it’s odd. Thank you again for your help, fab website for us desperados. 😳
