If a customer wanted their gas appliance repaired then they would call you.. You would then go out and test the components and diagnosis the fault.
Soooo. Why not get your local refrigeration engineer to do the same ? We aren’t in front of the appliance we can’t see the actual fault or test all the different components or where their is frost or not.

Then your not testing them correctly. There’s masses of information on the forum of how to test,read the fault codes and what to change. And the panels also come with instructions also.

in the past I’ve had to clean some fluff from the fan blades they have been blocked up, once this was done all was good, and never missed behaved

Seals need a smooth surface to make a correct seal . If you’ve hacked at the body with a screwdriver then you’ve probably scrapped the pump and will need a new one.

This was a common problem with the RSG5 where the display was not displaying full digits.
As for the fridge not cooling the fridge evaperator cover is the same design as the RS21 made with blown polystyrene which over a period of time gets saturated thus freezing it and stopping the fan.
Press the Freezer Temp and the Child Lock buttons for 10 seconds at the same time.
2-1) When the Power Freeze and the Lighting buttons(Freezer Temp and Child Lock buttons for RSG5B* Model) are held down for 6 seconds at the same time during normal operation, the temperature setting display will blink at an interval of 0.5 sec for 2 seconds(4 seconds for RSG5B* Model).When the Power Freeze and the Lighting buttons are held down for 8 seconds(10 seconds for RSG5B* Model) including 2 seconds (4 seconds for RSG5B* Model) LED blinking at the same time, it sends out “Ding-Dong” sound and goes into the Self-Diagnosis function.
2-2) When it goes into the Self-Diagnosis, the entire display panel goes off and when there is any error, relevant segments will blink at an interval of 0.5 sec. let me know which segments flash.Bryan
