KeymasterRe: Merloni Spares Price Increase
As though they are not already OVERPRICED…….
One day their customers will get wise, but in turn will fall into the trap of the next manufacturer.
Perhaps the government will one day wise up to the scam of overpriced spares…..it did eventually happen in the cost of cars!!!!! And although the result was cheaper cars…its only just.

KeymasterRe: rumours
my post that got lost…….
Was to say that I have been told by tinhips (although I did not name him in the original post) that it is not possible to remove my old company from the Dasa list. This is not a rumour Oldtog, you can check by asking him, I have named him so you can do so.
I went on to say I’m not to chuffed at having my old details still published as though I was still a Dasa member.I suppose the fact that the list is inaccurate means not a lot to Dasa, as I asked for my details to be removed and they have refused. Again I asked Tinhips.
So for the meantime Dasa will continue to provide an inaccurate list of its members to all who want it. I think the download should be withdrawn until it is accurate, as Dasa are now falsely advertising me as a member despite my wishes.

KeymasterRe: Maple Industries own brand Necht
morning,
We do a couple of dozen calls a month for Maple and they do pay extremely well and without problem…..£42.00 plus vat per completed call(electric and refrigeration).I have to say the fitters who “fit” the kitchens in my area are poor, so some customers are a little cheesed with the kitchen company, but so far not with us.
Easy and good work.

Keymasterkwatt wrote:Hi Jan,
E3 is a “no heat” error which can be caused by no less than seven different failures that are listed, many of which you may well not even think to look for, like the spray arms blocked. MFI Extracare, without looking at the appliance, can only do what we’d do and guess at the fault. In effect all that “E3” is telling you is that the machine is not reaching temperature, not why it’s not reaching temperature.
Due to legislation I can’t be to precise here, but the most likely cause is that the resettable thermostat has tripped (usually a bit of cutlery across the heater and stat will do that ;)) and if you access the thermostat and press the little red button in the centre it may cure the fault.
If that doesn’t clear it my advice is to get in an engineer in all honesty and there’s a lot of the guys on here are specialist repairers for MFI/Hygena/Diplomat appliances if that helps any.
K.
where is the thermostat located?

KeymasterRe: rumours
three weeks or so and you’d think this thread is dead……well its xmas soon. What better time of year for a tall(rumour) story.
Since this thread hit the big time most of the Dasa bigwigs have backed off the site and have gone extremely quite…..have you got the arse on with us(me)?
Got the download of dasa members last night and was suprised to see that I’m still on it ….so that is at least 5 months out of date then!
Triggers post on whom to recommend to a customer was not a brill advert for Dasa…….I wonder if Dasa dare actually publish the real members list come January 1st (so I can send all of them a welcome pack introducing UKW to them…thanks).
Question do you still have 100 members? Real members not associates.
Another question to all out there with nothing better to do than read this……
If you were a member of a trade association……what would you say would be your no 1 priority????Please answer Dasa need the help 😆
