    Just had a thought on this, but I could be off the mark….could the heater going to earth after it’s been on a while currupt the board and cause no motor ?

    We are Electrolux floor care agents and our e/lux contact complains that Argos regularly exchange vacuum cleaners that are either blocked or have broken drive belts. :rolls:

    Thanks for the reply Allsorts, I didn’t realise there was a time out fault code for heating on this model 😳
    Do you know if the hotpoint wf series have a fault code for this also ? I thought they just washed indefintely.

    Regarding the m/c with “rising damp” I would imagine that is the customers interpretation after being told the m/c is being kept in a damp enviroment by the engineer. :rolls:

    Emw didn’t have a board in so I directed customer back to Indesit under 5yr parts warranty. I spoke to the customers daughter a week or so later who confirmed they changed main board and all was well.

    Also a restriction in the outlet might cause that code as well I think.
